" Protesters " yelling at cops trying to pay tribute to slain officers at memorial.

CNN Correspondent Sara Ganim reported that a small group of protesters were yelling at police officers who had gathered to pay their respects at a memorial to slain NYPD officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos on Monday.
While Ganim said that most of the people who had showed up were paying their respects to the officers, she added “I do, just in full disclosure, want to say that in the last couple of minutes, for the first time today, we’ve seen protesters come out here and start yelling at groups of police who are mourning their slain police officers.”
Ganim continued “it’s just a few of them, Suzanne, and like I said, just in the last five minutes, and they’re quite frankly yelling at a group of police officers who are standing here silently, just looking at the memorial of candles and flowers and posters, and they’re yelling similar rhetoric that we’ve been hearing over the last couple of weeks related to the shooting of — the chokehold death of Eric Garner and the shooting of Michael Brown in Missouri.”
She also reported that people she had talked to earlier believed that while conversations on police brutality needed to take place, they shouldn’t happen right after the deaths of two officers and that criticizing Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) was going to make the divisions in the city worse.

I'm glad you were on the scene and exposing the "Truth tellers" about the whole "Dead Cops" chant.
I heard that the cops handled themselves and the crowd pretty well. Imagine that, a peaceful protest. It's good to know that those two words are not mutually exclusive.
Back in the day, when I was at Hunter, the cops used a tactic that may or may not be used today. They would send in a handful of plainclothes cops and trigger things by yelling out violent phrases and generally rabble rouse.
Ah, this brings me back.

Police turned the funeral into a protest, which is ironic to say the least. If only there had been some cops there to beat, teargas, taser, pepperspray, or shoot them as they were protesting. Hey, it's only what they'd do for us!
And what was it that DeBlasio said that brought out the fury and ire of the pigs?
