It depends on what you are looking at whether it is pointless or not. If these young ladies are heading to prom then the diversity of gowns makes all the sense in the world. If this is a photo of the bride’s maids in a wedding party the diversity of gowns makes little sense. At least to me.

I understood what you said, and if you place a 2 on paper + or add another one 22, it does equal twenty two. If you write 2+2 = 4, it also equals the adding of two 2’s, 1 time. It all depends what it is you are trying to convey what the reality is.
