Yes , from me.

Your biased, personal opinion of me matters absolute nil. The issue at hand is the array of Dems, and the asinine comments they made about Mitt, per his views on Russia being our geopolitical foe.

Mitt was dead on , while the mindless policy wonks living in fantasy land completely and totally misread Putin.

You apparently can't deal. There's a cognitive dissonance issue here, where who you deem the brightest, most in tune and aware individuals on the planet, Dem political leaders , have been shown to be utterly in the dark on Putin and Ukraine. Conversely, Mitt Romney ( and Palin before ), who you deem worthy of mockery and indignation, absolutely nailed it.

It does not compute with your brain, and so to some how compensate, you go after ME, in a disconnected act of frustration and confusion.

Get use to that feeling.

What should Obama have done that he didn't?

Putin's problems are only beginning.

"Behind The Kiev Snipers It Was Somebody From The New Coalition" - A Stunning New Leak Released

Quote:

Earlier today an even more shocking recording has been "leaked" this time one between the always concerned about human rights EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton and Estonian foreign minister Urmas Paet, in which it is revealed on tape that all those photos of horrifying deaths of Ukrainians by snipers during the last days of the Median stand off, were in fact caused not by Snipers controlled by Yanukovich, but that the snipers shot at both protesters and police in Kiev were allegedly hired by Maidan leaders!

Here is the key exchange, just after 8 minutes into the conversation :

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-03-05/behind-kiev-snipers-it-was-so
mebody-new-coaltion-stunning-new-leak-reveals-truth

Paet: "All the evidence shows that people who were killed by snipers from [on] both sides, policemen and people from the streets, that they were the same snipers killing people from both sides. ... Some photos that showed it is the same handwriting, the same type of bullets, and it is really disturbing that now the new coalition they don't want to investigate what exactly happened. So there is now stronger and stronger understanding that behind the snipers, it was not Yanukovych, but it was somebody from the new coalition."

Ashton: "I think we do want to investigate. I mean, I didn’t pick that up, that’s interesting. Gosh."

Paet: "It already discreditates (sic) this new coalition."

So first US orchestrates the Kiev overthrow, and now the new "leaders" of Ukraine are allegedly found to have fired against their own people - the same provocation they subsequently used to run Yanukovich out of the country and install a pro-Western puppet government. Of course, said pro-Western coalition has not been discreditated (sic) because Ms. Ashton has sternly refused to investigate, knowing quite well how horribly this would reflect on the new Ukraine "leadership" - a government which shot its own people to fabricate the pretext under which it rose to power

Because your opinions and analyses have been so... Accurate? Insightful? Unique? I mean, really... what adjective do we attach to your contributions to the forum?

Russia isn't MY geopolitical foe. Al Qaida, maybe. China, probably. Corporations, definitely.

But Russia???? Not really!

You DID see the cartoon I posted about Obama, right? I mean, it didn't have a lot of words in it, so I assumed you could understand it pretty easily. Did it portray Obama as the most in tune and aware person in the nation? Wow, you're stupider than I thought, if you thought that!

Just to point out from a previous thread (Ukraine's bloodiest day)

Quote:

Police deployed snipers and used live ammunition in a menacing escalation of the violence.- news article

Have seen actual footage of anti-government protests in Venezuela being shot at by USA-planted provocateurs. Not sure if this is the case here, but in the Venezuelan demonstrations the blame was instantly (and incorrectly) laid at the feet of the government.-signy

Now, this is alleged, but the USA response was not to deny the allegation but to say...

Asked about the emergence of a second embarrassing phonecall, a spokesperson for the US state department said: "As I said around the last unfortunate case, this is just another example of the kind of Russian tradecraft that we have concerns about."

I'm going to keep flogging this thread because damnit, it's the perfect real-life example of how brainwashed we are, and how the government and a complicit media uses that to sweep us off our feet with a torrent of biased coverage.

Did you support the invasion of Afghanistan?
Iraq?
Libya?

The "rebels" of Syria?

Did you originally support the "Arab Spring" protesters?

Did you support the formation of S Sudan?

All of these were presented with much favorable press, hailed as either an outbreak of "freedom" or a necessary action for self defense. Nobody looked behind the press clippings to figure out what was REALLY going on. Nobody noticed that every conflict situation was presented VERY one-sidedly, the "other side" being so absent from the press as to be quite literally non-existent except as the boogeymen that the heroic freedom fighters were battling against.

It never occurred to anyone just to go to Wikipedia, and educate themselves in the most fundamental issues of the nation: who is on one side, who is on another? What are they fighting for? Who is backing them, and why? (IF you read the word "freedom" please cross it out. Insurgents and even terrorists have learned to use that word because they know that we respond reflexively with unquestioning support)

I hate to be a curmudgeon, but I've learned over many years that every single news item in every press release- and I don't care if it comes from Voice of Russia or al Jazeera or MSNBC or Fox News - needs to be placed into a mental quarantine until basic objective research shows it to be true, false, or unverifiable. You can't keep reacting emotionally to press releases which are MEANT to jerk your chain. (Oh, and the same goes for advertising.)

Being grownups, you're supposed to be responsible for what you think, just like you're supposed to be responsible for what you eat. So... be responsible. Don't let others determine for you what you think and how you feel.

Sig - if you saw my posted vid of Dems mocking Mitt over his Russia point, and are still trying to pick a fight when you actually are AGREEING with me ( per your funny of Obama & Putin ), then I'm at a loss for words.

The central point being, all those Dems were stunningly wrong, yet all had the audacity to say Mitt said something " stupid ".

Yah well, thing is, I do - just that nobody ever listens.
Hell, I knew damn well what was going on in Nicaragua way back when the coverup was still in place, especially given that was the catalyst for my breaking ties with the military.

For a fact, the NeoFeudoFascists who run this country have always reached out to the most sociopathic authoritarian scum they could find for their props and puppets, and this latest thing in the Ukraine is no damn different, although thankfully their efforts in Venezuela are falling flat because the populace as a whole has seen enough of our meddling to know it for what it is - same reason it never took in Cuba.

What's really got my knickers in a twist is the fact that somewhere in this Ukrainian mess american tax money and resources went to support a pack of 2nd/3rd generation original Nazis and their NeoNazi flunkies, apparently without any kind of actual approval - given that I think the United States still officially classes them as "enemies", the actions of Nuland, Pyatt, and the rest of that cabal do, I believe, constitute the minimum legal definition of Treason.
Quote:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

As noted in the phone call, this *was* an "overt Act", and with many more 'witnesses' than two - at the very LEAST it is material support of Terrorism and potentially war crimes.

And all the resources and effort spent on this bullshit for political points is just that much we don't have to deal with problems HERE, not to mention the *inevitable* blowback when these pipedreams collapse and the fuckers we propped up turn on us, all when we coulda-shoulda-woulda left well the hell enough alone to begin with.

Oh, and just to run a chill up your spine, some of the involved NeoCons were actually *HOPING* for a "Limited Nuclear Exchange" cause they seem to think it would destabilize our own Government enough for them to seize power.

One problem is our "intelligence" community really just works for themselves. They're wholly unaccountable.

One book on the topic:

Yeah, well...
The French Nobility thought that too back in the 1790's.
One might remember how well it worked out for them.
