Thanks! I come back with a massive amount of caution since the election, mind you :)

And what I said about the weed. That was a joke. Never done anything like that in my life. Just sayin' :)

I agree about the crystal weed...that's downright weird and the guy must be out of his gourd, as said. I've never heard of such a thing and don't know why anyone would WANT it. Hash should be good enough, if dope isn't strong enough! (Have visions of some idiot sitting there trying to shoot dope...shees!).

I like the electorial college one, sort of. I'd certainly like to see it done away with, but I'd prefer just one person, one vote, myownself. There are too many ways to fuck up the one as written.

I kinda like deporting the idjits on that petition, too, but I'd prefer to see them deport the people who WROTE it, who are the real assholes. Perfectly normal people can be convinced to sign it, even as just a statement, so they don't deserve to be punished. Not serious, of course; everyone's free to petition for anything they like, however assinine. It's a free country, which means you're free to be stupid, too...or even have a "stupid party", to quote Bobby Jindal!

Tit for tat got us where we are today. If we want to be grownups, we need to resist the ugliness. If we each did, this would be a better reflection on Firefly and a more welcome place. I will try.

Excuse me while I soak in all these sweet, sweet conservative tears.

Prize for first giggle of the morning. Cracks me up.

Canada. I'm not joking. Or maybe I am.

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

RIPPER! Why, you old so-and-so, where the heck have you been?

More importantly, HOW the heck have you been?

Good to see you 'round these parts again. You've been missed.

I've been well! Got a job, moved to Florida and in the meantime diverted most of my on-line time to the black hole that is Facebook (catching up with friends and whatnot). I don't really know why I wandered away from here, but the reunion special this weekend got me a little curious to see if things were the same around here :) Looks like there are fewer of my "type", so I come back with a full suit of virtual armor as one of the few Conservatives in the bunch :)
