A thread with the express purpose of offending Mike, endorsed by Mike?

And now some horrid expletives have been used in the latest round of attempts.

I feel secure that I can say something offensive not only to Mike, but even to myself.

Firefly was a drab, boring, overrated blemish on the airwaves that deserved its young death. Its cancellation was possibly one of the few good decisions Fox has ever made. The desire by a tiny minority of 'fans' to keep it alive is both sad and pathetic. The meagre careers that the actors of the show have managed to finagle for themselves is impressive considering the lingering stench of this bad sci-fi production- one that ranks with Sharktopuss in the bad sci-fi hall of fame. The sooner Firefly is forgotten, the better off the landscape of human artistic expression will be. The people who participated in the show need to stop listing it on their resumes and hope nobody remembers what they once stooped to. As for the sequel movie, its only highlight was the death of the irritating 'plucky comic relief' pilot who stood out throughout the show's thankfully brief run like puss on a pimple.
