Capn - Actually... yeah. If you could send the Thal info my way, that would be entirely helpful. I'm having trouble coming up with a reason why she's been entirely AWOL during the whole River incident. No way she could have missed it - and wouldn't if I'd been here.

Hello all -
This is my last wave from my regular location. Starting to pack up to move out soon.
Not to worry - we are only just starting to get clouds and some gusty but not awful wind. Frances is moving slllooooowwwwwly.
Merz and Kaylee will keep watch, and post as necessary and as possible.

Well, nothing but rain and wind so far. There is a large tree in the back yard here and the branches might be in some danger - blowing it around something fierce.
Things will probably be quiet for the rest of this night, will pop on in the morning ...

okay. As far as Slights dad, Harold Helsing is no longer among the living. As a result, on a different story arc, the Blue Sun will be under new management. Carlson Davis, formerly Second Power and absolutely worthless worker bee, will be the result of a massive upheaval. More and more Blue Sun operatives will be on the hunt for Slight, in order to uphold the last request of Hal.
We can't all be heroes, since some of us have to sit at the curb and clap as they go by.

Midnight and counting -
Seen some awesome footage from the east side of Forida - Frances has finaly landed ... sometimes the sheer power of nature takes me completely aback. I did not know palm trees could bend so far and not break ...
Shelters filling up. Once eye hit shore, power losses climbed.
Tampa is only just starting to get rain-bands and while I am under a tornado watch I have no worries - has been relatively quiet here and I will catch some zzz's soon.
Astriana - hope your party/gathering goes well and safely. Decoy, my thoughts are with you, 'cause gonna hit you before it hits me.
Just this instant, heard the wind outside ramp up ... storms are my achilles heel - I don't cope well and I admit it. But no danger here except from my own fear. (fear is the mind killer ... .)

Well folks, there comes a time (every few months or so) when I spend a day or two in a row doing nothing but RP and/or chat and get the "I'm worried about you spending too much time on your computer" speech.
I think I've mentioned this phenomenon before.
This time it was rather interesting because it a fairly strong "There are no such thing as cyber-friends"/"they aren't real friends" streak to it, which I took offense to.
But worry not, I've played this game and done this dance. I kept my mouth shut for the most part, let her speak her piece and for the next couple days I'll play it cool until the wind dies down. I'll still have time to post and e-mail but I won't be on AIM as much- probably be playing video games, painting, watching movies, having fun off the computer.
Spend a few hours too many on- take a few off. Seems fair enough to me.
I should be back to my regular schedule in a couple days- until the next storm hits in another few months.

Still dark outside this morning - cannot see yet but can hear the wind rushing around the house ... come daylight will check what branches, etc, might have come down in the night.
