Debs, yeah yer right, I knew where he left it, but Book doesn't. I figured it was about time for him to notice it was gone. 
Speaking of Book, I was reading the Bible trying to come up with some good stuff and noticed that when God created everything in Genesis, that He created light days before creating the sun and moon. Wild stuff, I tells ya.

I want to thank Debs and let everyone know that The Death of Brink "Slight" Helsing" post was an extensive collaborative effort twixt she and I.
{Since my comp has gone FUBAR.}
We spent 30 minutes on the phone while Deb took down extensive notes while I framed the entire scene.
Then She spent 3 hours crafting the scene and after it was finished - she emailed it to me.
Her effort was spectacular! I only had to change a few phrases and word choices and alter a bit of formatting and the effort was ready to post.
SO ... we both would appreciate any input/critique on this new type of post {collaborative instead of 'blended'}
LOL, especially from Raven - we both hope we did the Death justice and also hope we have set up the future path of good ole Brink!

Justtice doesn't enter into the equation. I study poetry as a hobby, and that post was just. . .WOW. I have to say, I sent a post possibility to Rahn (apparently seconds late, but, such is life), and while mine wasn't bad, this post went far beyond what I could have expected. You have done Slight justice. And I bow to you. Jolly good show, chaps. Jolly good. . .
I just have to run a post for the Blue Sun itself. Then I think we can let it lie. For now.

Hey, Debs, loved your Kaylee post. I figured that kind of dreamstate would be flashing like Christmas lights for a reader like River. Poor girl is crying again, along with Kaylee, but with everything that's going on I don't blame them.
I borrowed some of your phrases- you'll probably recognize them- they do an excellent job of showing that River sees what Kaylee sees, plus they were so well written

Hey all -
I know you get tired of all this, but there it is.
Hurricane Francis is coming in this weekend. Now, weekends are slow anyway, but ya know I can't keep my yap shut. However the next few days promise to be interesting indeed for the state of Florida, and as of right this minute, I am not even entirely sure of where I will be living for the next 4 days or if I will have power or a computer .
So for me and Decoy - I will keep you updated as I can and let you know how we are doing. Astriana - best of luck to you and Hubby! and I am assuming the party is put off for a safer time.
It almost seems this damned storm is wider than the blessed STATE. (it isn't really it just looks that way. Makes you wonder where we CAN go to get away from it.
Well, preparing to hunker down (probably with 10 cats, mine and the friends I was already scheduled to be cat-sitting for) and wait it out.
