Allow me re-introduce myself. *Waving* Hi! I'm Channain, late of this wondermous RP known as Gunrunning, also known as crazy-busy art student. Nice to meet y'all!

Maniac came and gave me a bit of a nudge today, and he'll be happy to know I printed out the latest greatest Act and caught myself up as of yesterday. I think I've found my new night-table reading! Also realized that the last token Post I put in was just that, and woefully inadequate. Who knew writing out of a sense of misplaced responsibility was as bad as writing at midnight? At any rate, I'm planning to edit that post to include Kaylee (who Rowan ignored earlier) and then put in another "Where's Rowan been all this time?" post. I already have it started.

Yep! Party is put off until further notice (possibly canceled, but that hasn't been decided yet). In the meantime, hurricane party at my house, if you feel the inclination...

Also, looks like Frances may end up missing us after all - depending on what happens tonight, I guess - so we could just end up having a general "whew!" party. Although I'm thinking the folks in Central Florida are tired of being quite literally in Mother Nature's crosshairs.

Actually, the storm is wider than the state. Something in the neighborhood of 400+ miles across, east to west, and something like 1000+ miles long, north to south. Yipes!

Hubby and I are hunkering down at home, although according to some of the latest projections, we may not see anything more than a little wind & rain.

Deb and I had hoped the DeepRED {anybody remember that SciFi channel movie? } would be a good mcguffin {device to aid in an unusual plot situations} for Slight. Channain : Good to see you alive - I was beginning to wonder! As to your inquiry - Stitches are still in, the Doc wanted to keep them in for another week. The hip is not broken in either the ball or socket, praise Yahweh. New appoitment to get a MRI of the battered area when I go in to get the thumb unsewn. And the personal injury claim has been submitted. It does look like this may be long term injury, so I am going to SOCK it to the insurance company. Heh, it is the first time in 40 years I have ever made a personal injury claim after an accident. Wish me luck, in both healing and getting a fair and speedy settlement!

If only I could fully stretch out and prop my right leg under the desk. But alas, the desk is built so I can do that. I can only sit at the comp for around 2 hours or so before the durn muscles and nerves badger me into submission. So again I must heap mucho thanks on Debs for posting those 2 Mal posts and constructing the 'Death of Slight' for me.

Oh, yes - Xiang. If you have time I would say go ahead. It never hurts to have something prepared and can be altered if things, RP-wise, flow a different direction. Heh, as example - Raven and I ahve finished a scene that won't happen until after "Shadows of the Pale Moonlight" RP. It actually is a really great Kaylee/Simon working together scene conceived by Raven. I am actually sorta itchy to see the reaction to this collaboration between Raven and I.

I have been negligent, I will send the Thal info to you sometime this weekend. OR do you need it for your current post?

Astriana : How is hubby fairing after the surgury. I know he was doing good right after, but how is he now?

Oh, yes, don't have TOO much fun being battered and blown about by Frances or the concurrent party!

Geezer & Ciara : Fantastic interaction and deepening of the relationship between Inara and Thorne!!! Can we expect more after "the curtain closes and time passes"? I, personally hope so!

Boomer If your still keeping up with the RP and OOC, please let us know how you are doing! I just missed IMing you today by the barest fraction.

Maniac LOL, well thanks for 'nuzzling' Channy, I was going to give her a yell tonight meself. BTW, did I follow you lead as you had hoped? I have more for Mal to talk/question Book about, so I'll try to post that REAL soon.
