Re-read some of my posts, too, why dontcha? I was never 100% in the McCain camp. In fact, I would have rather had a choice by the time the Ohio primary came and went but it was basically all over by then. He was it.

As to your last paragraph, you'll see just in this thread that I have pointed out via video links where McCain stood up for Obama and pictures from Obama rallies where people wore simply disgusting shirts describing Palin. So whenever I try to make a serious point, at least I try to prove my point with credible links, even linking to Huffington Post from time to time.

Looks like I'm late to the party, but for the record, I don't find Ripper to be much at all like Rappy. I've had good discussion with Rip, we've both made our points and given ground on other points; there's a DISCUSSION going on instead of a shouting match.

Right on. When I first heard the quip, that was what I thought of - Bristol Palin. 'Course, as I pointed out before, when you're talking about the Palins and you mention "daughter" and "knocked up" in the same breath, Bristol would seem to be rather implied.

Next time he should spout a more offensive joke, and then apologize after. His ratings should then triple what they are currently.
