A Bad Day For Us (Thanks To Red Dwarf and Jericho)
And Let's Not Be Disrespecting The Heavy Lifters, Without Whose Considerable Efforts We Would Not Even Be Competitive
At the Stargate site ( http://stargate-news.com/sci-fi-poll-best-in-science-fiction.html) we are at 43.5 (43.7 yesterday) percent today, and 1458 votes, for the best SciFi movie. Star Wars has 682 votes (gaining 19, to our 4). Vote for Firefly as well as Serenity (where we have 31.9 percent of the vote and Red Dwarf has 32.5, versus 32.5 and 30.6 yesterday). The Dwarves are on a big rampage (with us at 13,856 and them at 14,102). At this point, the Dwarves are on the rampage again.
We need some help here as well;

If you turn off cookies on your browser, when you go to TVTally, you can vote up to three (used to be six) times (and for more than one show, or all for one show). You can also vote more than once in six hours (unpredictable, tends to happen early in the day, and after 6 PM). Some consider this cheating, some don't. Either you're a cookie monster, or you ain't. How strange is that? I vote there every day once from work and once from home....

Depends on when the BBC starts the next 24 hour cycle. That would explain it.

I think (both of) the "heavy hitters" probably picked up their toys and left, based on the posts by "Independant". And I think our "normal" voters probably felt their efforts were a waste of time during the May craziness and got out of the habit on all voting sites, so now we're worse off than when we started.
One thing I'll say for Jericho voters. When they were getting trounced they kept on voting, and are still doing so. Their handful of voters seems to be a bit more dedicated than ours...
