Red Dwarves Stopped, Ewoks Gone Away and TVTalley Still Ours

May was a good month for us at TVTally. Browncoats cast 51,633 votes, compared to 48,171 for the Jericho fans. We went from 1,520 votes behind, to 3,339 ahead. Currently, votes are being cast at more than thirty times the rate of four months ago. This month, more than half the votes ever cast for those two shows at TVTally, were cast. In the last two weeks, Browncoats and Jericho fans cast an average of 5,000 votes a day (compared to about 140 votes a day at the beginning of the year). We are mighty because some of us are crazy enough to spend all that time voting. Here's hoping that the Jericho fans will admit defeat, so the few fans doing the multiple voting, can ease up. That sort of thing takes a lot of work. The Jericho fans began the multiple voting when we began catching up. We fought fire with fire and won anyway.

We gained 3,339 votes on Jericho in the week ending June 1 (493 the previous week). Overall the total vote at the beginning of the week is Jericho 112,183 (95,649 last week), Firefly 115088 (95,215 last week). In January, we were over 2,000 votes behind. But a year ago, we were ahead. Over the last few months, we have closed the gap and gone back into the lead.
If you turn off cookies on your browser, when you go to TVTally, you can vote up to three (used to be six) times (and for more than one show, or all for one show). You can also vote more than once in six hours (unpredictable, tends to happen early in the day, and after 6 PM). Some consider this cheating, some don't. Either you're a cookie monster, or you ain't.

At Stargate ( http://stargate-news.com/sci-fi-poll-best-in-science-fiction.html) we are at 43.7 (43.6 yesterday) percent today, and 1451 votes, for the best SciFi movie. Star Wars has 663 votes. Vote for Firefly as well as Serenity (where we have 30.7 percent of the vote and Red Dwarf has 29.1, versus 28.2 and 28.9 yesterday). The Dwarves are on a big rampage (with us at 11,755 and them at 11,157). At this point, the Dwarves have been stopped, for now.

I dont think you can call people voting multiple times Hackers, you most certainly cannot imply they are not Browncoats. They are Browncoats of the most Passionate kind.

Red Dwarves Still After Us, Ewoks Gone Away and TVTalley Still Ours

At Stargate ( http://stargate-news.com/sci-fi-poll-best-in-science-fiction.html) we are at 43.7 (43.7 yesterday) percent today, and 1454 votes, for the best SciFi movie. Star Wars has 663 votes. Vote for Firefly as well as Serenity (where we have 32.5 percent of the vote and Red Dwarf has 30.6, versus 30.7 and 29.1 yesterday). The Dwarves are on a big rampage (with us at 13,573 and them at 12,775). At this point, the Dwarves have been stopped, but they are still after us.

No. He has made a couple of comments and I have held check until this time. So my response was not snarky (grab a dictionary and check the meaning). It was also a light hearted response given that he is putting down people who are doing alot for the cause.

To be realistic the voting must be fair and uneffected by outside force, especially a force that has nothing to do with honest competition.

To give up on one's values is not passion, rather it becomes fanaticism, amoral and of no honor. Power is not rightness.

So, ALL the hackers that have destroyed the validity of TV Tally should find something else to do with their online time and leave the rest of us to vote, without their 'enlightened' assistance.

That's easy enough to do. Leave the 'verse to the 'verse.

I asked, they prefer snarky(too bad I haven't shown them my version of snarky), I love how they protest that they've made more post and didn't just join. I guess they don't know if your put the curser over the screen name and click on it it shows your membership number, what day & time you joined, and how many post you've made and in what threads. But I'm wrong,....hahahaha noobs!

We've seen off the ewoks (adding a couple of hundred in one session seems to have driven them off).
I'm active on stargate (normally a couple of hundred behind at signon, and a few hundred (sometimes more) ahead at the end.
I'm active at Tvtally for about 1500-2500 a day.

FYI: Your use of the term hacker makes you look quite ignorant.
