I know a guy who knows a guy...

The Towers fell because of the mega-ton counterbalance weights pushing through softened steel supports, and building seven was intentionally demolished due to the super-sensitive junk on hard drives throughout that in all that confusion anyone with a fireman's costume or a phony badge could have just waltzed in and lifted.

It's that simple, okay?

I heard an unsubstantiated rumor that it might have been related to air traffic reported to be in the area around the time that the towers fell. It's all very hush-hush, and air traffic controllers who have spoken out about it have been mysteriously silenced, but the story I heard is that one or more passenger jets disappeared right around the time of the demolition.

Okay- so here it is- no Bush conspiracy to bring down the Towers, and a reasonable explanation of the building 7 mystery, and not so many want to comment on it. Typical. Too 'centerist' for conflicting arguments...but it seems that argument is why we're here, not to find stuff out, right?

What you should have done is write something like this:

I agree. The quote I gave was something that could've possibly kicked off a nice and heated verbal free-for-all, but it's not exactly the way I see the attacks myself (as you say, it's not wrong, it just paints an incomplete picture).

Chris... I know that many skyscrapers have huge controlled weights near the top for active load balancing. (Mostly to balance wind shear, but also uneven thermal expansion, ground settling, and earthquakes.) But I haven't been able to find any reference to WTC active load balancing. Any links?
