Ok, that was dumb, i hit the button before I typed anything.

Ok, Malicious and I have formulated a plan about THE FIRST ANNUAL INTERNET SHINDIG.

The Plan:

Whenever it is we decide to have this thing (Next tuseday at 8:00 EST is the tentitive plan)
everybody will get on their AIM accounts (i'll give info on downloading AIM below) and I will invite you into a big group chat. That means i need your screen names a little ahead of time. Thats the main pourpose of this thread, to gather Screennames. So, if you want to be involved in this chat, please give me your screen name in this thread. I'll get you on my buddylist.

Don't worry, I'm not going to sell your screen names to evil stalkers, or give it away to anyone. If you decide you don't want me to have your screen name anymore, I'll take it off my buddy list.

Ok? So start with the screen name giving!

If you don't have AIM (Aol Instant Messenger) here's how to get it:

Ok, its very simple really. If you can point a mouse and type (I imagine you have these basic skills) then I think you can handle AIM. You might also need a basic understanding of the ENTER key.

Step 1) Go to www.aim.com
Step 2) Click the big yellow button that says "Download now!"
Step 3) On the next screen click the big yellow button that says "New Users Click Here."
Step 4) Then theres all these little boxes asking for what you want your screen name to be and stuff. Pretty straight forward. Just follow the instructions the website gives you.
Step 5) Eventually, you will get to the point where AIM will be on your computer. (There may be a new item on your desktop saying aim.exe or some such thing, you have to click that and go through the instillation wizard. This might also start up automatically. I'm not really sure. In any case, I'm sure you can figure it out)

Ok, so then you have AIM. I think the first time you log on, there might be one of those little "how to use aim" instructional thingers. It might be helpful to click that.

My shiny brand new AIM name thing is: FF03K64

Everything else I wanted was taken. Has there ever been any discussion about creating a Firefly chatroom? I know there's one here, but I've never been able to successfully use it. I'm just recalling my misspent youth being wasted away on MUDs or talkers or whatever they're called. Fun fun. Anyway, just curious...cuz my friend could probably set it up and run it all independent-like.
