Um, are they available (or going to be) at any physical brick'n'mortar store (and, if yes, will any of those stores be up here in Canuckistan), or are they some kind of Amazon-exclusive?

'Cause I didn't pre-order (thinking that it'd be available in stores), and I don't want to keep people waiting for a couple of months for overdue Christmas gifts (I also don't want to pay inflated shipping prices).

I also see that some of you have them already, despite the fact that Amazon.ca's shipping date was Dec 31st. Did the American Amazon ship early, or did Canada just get shafted again (like I even have to ask)?

DvDs were available on the 17th, far as I knew. I got mine two days ago, but that's only because I elected to have mine shipped at the same time as my Serenity Blu-Ray edition.

Amazon doesn't ship to Canada? :(

I don't know about Amazon.ca, but I didn't pay any shipping charges for my DVDs. They qualified for free shipping with orders over $25. Even at $10 each, I bought enough that I got free shipping for the lot.

Cyber, I just saw on the Horrible Blog that Amazon has canceled all the preorders on Amazon.ca! So sorry. I could get you one if you can't get it any other way and if you don't mind paying shipping from my house to yours. (I have Amazon Prime so they will ship it to me free.)

yup...got my very own shiny copy of dr. horrible yesterday...along with serenity on blu-ray,which i watched imediately ! will watch dr horrible tonite with the commentary on as i have already watched all the episodes online...what a show !
