So, a few days ago I submitted my entry for the Zoetrope Virtual Studio contest (http://www.zoetrope.com/contests/).

Contest says "any genre, any budget," so I went with a big-budget space-opera. Not really inspired by Firefly (more like a cross between Star Wars, Halo, and Predator). Plus, it's an ensemble piece, and who does ensembles anymore? I'm hoping the novelty will be worth something.

Here's hoping.
