Thanks Geezer... good source material for those who should know where their party or celebrity stands on the issues.
Now let me take off my Firefly hat and put on my political hat, but first i think i'll put on my cold beer hat and watch the sunset, then maybe i'll put on my reading hat or who knows...?? guess i could put my American hat on, but that one is pretty dusty... aw screw it, i'm putting on my Detroit Tigers cap and watch old Magnum P.I. reruns....

Forgot these loons.
US Constitution Party
(aka Taxpayer Party, one way they slip two candidates on a ballot, cheating bastards)

I been keeping an eye on them for years, basically a bunch of really strange, right leaning, hyper-religious types I mark as "dangerous".
As someone who actually knows something about the US Constitution, I find the name of their party rather offensive.

After looking over the platforms, I've rated them by scariness (to me).
In decending order of scariness:
Green. They want you to live your life freely, their way, under their rules, espousing only their philosophy. I can see the re-education camps a-building now.
Constitution. God, guns, and babies keep America free. Agreeing with us 100% keeps you free.
Nader. The Green party, but nicer and a bit loopier.
Democrats (tie with Republicans). We're gonna tax the rich and spend more until we balance the budget. It's all society's fault. Oh, and the Republicans are evil.
Republicans (tie with Democrats). We're gonna tax everybody and spend more until we balance the budget. Democracy will save the world, even if we have to force it on 'em. Oh, and the Democrats are evil.
Paul. See Libertarian
Libertarian. Do what you damn well please, but don't hurt anyone in the process.

Geezer:
Sadly, your analysis seems about right. Too bad we can't get more support for Libertarians.
I believe it was Groucho Marx who came up with the most succinct, most eloquent foreign policy speech I ever heard:
Quote:
How about everybody leave everybody else the hell alone?
Spoken like a true Libertarian. Must be crazy-talkin'...

So does that mean us Anarchists technically qualify as Libertarians, given that's our platform too ?

As long as you don't initiate force, I guess so. That's the fun of Libertarians and Anarchists, There aren't that many rules, just guidelines (as they'd say in Pirates of the Carribean).

Put me down in agreement with Geezer's analysis.
