Being a "recovering Trekkie", I'll also chip in with the original-series movies (1 through 6)....even though I've only watched a couple of them recently, I'm forever faithful to classic Trek.

Also, there are a couple of anime series I like.

That might not seem like a guilty pleasure to some, but to a lot of the people I hang out with who think anime is cheesier than Wisconsin....well, takes a little bit of explaining to make them aware that 'Space Battleship Yamato' and 'Zipang' (a World War II-centered miniseries) are really the only two I have an abiding interest in. Hell, as it is I'm outlining an SBY fanvid as we speak. :P

Since we're talking about cheesy sci-fi, one guilty pleasure "song" I love if "Flash's Theme" by Queen from the 80's movie. It opens with some dialogue from the movie that's just so cheesy in it's delivery. And when you hear the laser sound effect, you can actually picture the cheap FX they would have used for the film.

And then the pulsing beat and then "FLASH...AAAAHHHHHH....SAVIOUR OF THE UNIVERSE" followed by the familiar guitar lick that only Queen does. It's cheesy and all Hell, but it just gets you pumped up.

And for a meta, cheese within cheese thing, the "Captain Proton" holodeck programs Tom does in VOYAGER are a real gas to watch. I don't think it is, but I know that VOYAGER is still considered the red-headed step child of the TREK franchise. And with Tom trying to get the various crew members into it and failing is just so funny. Like when he has Seven with him and the big clunking robot is coming at her, she simply says "I am Borg" and opens the door on his chest, rips out one of the cords and goes "The robot is neutralized, may I leave now?" And Tom goes "Seven, the fate of the universe is at stake. Put a little effort into it."

I also like the Doctor's comment earlier in the episode. "Perhaps you should teach a course at Starfleet. Satanic Robots and Historical Overview."

and Lake Placid because Oliver Platt can make me laugh:)
