I think most people shouldn't feel guilty about the films they've mentioned.

I on the other hand should be ashamed of my owning Bring It On and The Cell on DVD.

Galaxy Quest is also widely considered a great movie. It won the Hugo, Saturn and Nebula award for great science fiction. So is Serenity and Planet of the Apes, Armageddon and the Star Wars prequels. Come on guys, these aren’t guilty pleasures, everyone likes them. Give us the juicy stuff!

Yet, I’m somewhat surprised to see Zenon:Girl of the 21st Century get three hits. I had no idea anyone but the Finn clan knew anything about that movie. Sweet. It’s big hit, around these parts. We searched and searched for the DVD release to no avail. Eventually, we just recorded it off the tv, and watched it over and over again.

And yeah, Kirsten Storms grew out of that role real quick. I actually didn’t dislike the other two movies, but they really lacked the charm of the first.

Plus anything with Reese Witherspoon in.
Even if it's bad (Overnight Delivery, Legally Blonde 2).

Yeah, some of the movies really don't belong - The Thing, 12 Monkees, Galaxy Quest, Brotherhood of the Wolf, they're great, or at least good films, and are generally recognized as such. No need to feel guilty.

Me, I'm a Highlander fan. Have everything ever released with that name (even the terrible cartoon series and the gawd-awfull 5th movie....)

That should pretty much say it all.

Definitely a GUILTY pleasure- I'd look at it, but I wouldn't buy it...still...Ardala...hmmmm....

Yepper I find myself drawn to vehicles that present the small guy against the Large super-dupper-evil-nasty-big-power hungry giants. And it doesn’t have to be an Alliance like foe, not necessarily. It can just be an individual struggling with trying to stay alive (Robinson Crusoe on Mars). Guess it all stems from my childhood and watching the weekly tv eps of “Lost in Space”. You know the small group of folk that wander around the galaxy and who only have each other to depend on. That just has appeal to me.
Dr.Smith (Boo..hiss..) Yep. They even had to depend on the bad doctor for help now and then…..lol
Anyway, you’ve all come up with some GREAT shows. Some that I’d forgotten about. I enjoy these kinda threads. Gets me to remembering all those times while I was just a little space monkey ….ha..ha

Agreed on what others said about some of the above-mentioned movies. No guilt there.

I have to say that some of the original Star Trek eps and ST:NG eps are rather cheesy, yet still enjoyable.

My current guilty pleasures are the "World's Wildest Police Chases" type shows, or "World's Wildest Courtroom Brawls", etc. Can't get enough of those, especially when the bad guys get what they deserve!
