Dawson's Creek, at least the first couple of yrs. It really did capture some of the dreamy innocence kids of that age have, but vehimately deny, wanting more, but not knowing what 'more' really means.

The Parent Trap - with Dennis Quaid and a young Lindsay Lohan. Sorry, but I can't help and look at that cute, young face of hers and wonder how real life turned into a total wreck.

I hate all reality t.v. shows, save one. Extreme Makeover - Home Edition. Real folks doing real work to help real people who really need a hand. Magic.

Oh, and for some reason (saw it listed above ) Xenon. I guess she falls into the 'Clarissa Explains it all ' catagory, I can't explain.... The 1st Xenon was cute, adorable, but the follow up seemed almost sad in comparison. Different writers ? The actress grew, but her character didn't.

Three to Tango, with Matthew Perry, Dylan McDermott, Neve Campbell & Oliver Platt.
It'd have to struggle to get 2 stars for quality, but when I'm uptight and nerved-out, it'll get to me every time...
And there was a thread here a while back about Armagaddeon-- browncoats either love it or hate it. Personally, I love it...

I confess, the only the sereis that I'll stop and watch even though I've seen them 100 times is Firefly. Now movies are another story. I've listed them below:
1 Serenity (our BDM)
2 Planet of the Ape (Charlton Heston)
3 Galaxy Quest ( is grown on me and the fandom angle screems Firefly, a good thing IMO)
4 The Island (Ewan McGregor,Scarlett Johansson, Steve Buscemi)
I love Buscemi's line " Geez! Why do I have to be the one to tell the kiddies there's no Santa Claus?!!"
5 The Thing 1951
6 The Thing 1982
7 Robinson Crusoe on Mars 1964

I'm sure there are several more only these are the ones that came to mind for the moment.

Very impressive list & I really like ALL the films you mention...especially Robinson Crusoe & 1951 The Thing. As far As Galaxy Quest...it may be my number 2 sci-fi movie of all time. Pure joy for me!
