al Qaeda isn't a 'pre-9/11' strength. They were intent on destroying us BEFORE Bush was ever in office, so what the hell has changed, other than we've killed or impriosoned 1000's of their leaders and followers, frozen much of their financial assets, tracked them down across Europe and the world.... yeah, LOT'S changed.
