I think Rap is in gibbering terror. (Does that mean the terrorists won the battle for his soul?) If we don't share his terror then we're "helping the terrorists win", even if we don't realize it. The person who makes the most noise about "fighting terrorism" gets Rap's undying loyalty for validating his fears.
