Fox is preselling Ghouliani as the "winner". His Mafia father was an enforcer for the Mob, jailed in Sing Sing prison for armed robbery. His uncle was a Mafia hitman who ran the largest cartheft ring in NY state, who hijacked trucks, who was gunned down by the FBI.

Quoting an unnamed friend of D'Avanzo, the book describes a 1962 shootout pitting a local mobster against the mayor's father and Leo D'Avanzo, Lewis D'Avanzo's father. The book says Leo was later sanctioned by mob bosses for shooting at a Mafia member. Leo D'Avanzo, who was known in family circles as a black sheep, ran loansharking and gambling operations out of a Brooklyn bar where Giuliani's father worked as a bartender. In his role as debt collector, his father 'broke legs, smashed kneecaps, crunched noses.' Joan Ellen D'Avanzo, a cousin who at one time lived with Giuliani when he was a youngster, became a drug addict who was beaten to death in 1973 at age 34. Her cause of death was listed as undetermined, but several family members said she was murdered."

hey guys! long time no speak.. ive been without internet for a few months now
i have a great deal of resentment towards Fox news, and the establishment republicans, and their ignorance towards history.. but it has been very eye opening, and telling... that someone with such a pro-constitutional view would be so lambasted or outright ignored by the media, after having placed higher than 2nd in the polling during the last two debates. its been very interesting to see the interaction between the media, and the political hacks who cater to them, and how theyre treating Ron Paul and his views now that he has entered the presidential fray. what has become obvious to me throughout all this is just how far from our original founding ideals we have strayed, to the extent that, by contrast, Paul makes the other alleged conservatives appear like closet liberals and neocon fascists by comparison

Last year, Ron Paul told Alex Jones that he would not run again, since if he won the primary, the Bush Gang would assassinate him. Billionaire Ross "NAFTA Sucks" Perot dropped out of the GOP presidential race for the same reason, saying in public that Bush St would murder his daughter at her wedding. So I hope he's got better security than Senator RFK Sr, who was winning the Demorat primary when his Mafia security guard put a 22-bullet in the back of his head at point-blank range.

While I find the idea of promoting a Libertarian for President interesting, it's not gonna be Ron Paul. And that sucks because he's right on so many issue ( doing away with the Dept of Education ), but there's one issue which destroys his credibility for me. His line about how we gave the terrorist reason to attack us is beyond assinine. To suggest that we should 'talk' to these blood thirsty religious zealots and some how work out any agreement with them is the stuff only Neville Chamberlain could appreciate.
No thanks, Ron. Stick to what you know, and leave the White House to the adults.
