Ok I really hate to sound like a COMPLETE knobhead but... What's DragonCon?

One of the largest Sci-Fi/gaming conventions there is. Lots of comics, lots of gaming, lots of sci-fi guests, panels, photo-ops, events, all kinds of good times. Actors love it because it's a lot of fun, and the Browncoats have had shindigs there for years now. If you want to meet tons and tons of 'coats from this site, and possibly a few Big Damn Heroes, D*C is the place to do it.

Dragon*Con is held in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. Right now they don't have any BDHs booked, so we're sending post cards to request them.

And thank you Phoenix! It sounds like a couple hundred tons of fun! And if I were actually able to make it there (which would be incredibly awesome) I'd prolly keel over and faint if I did meet any BDHs! Lol.
Does anyone know how much it is to go? And what I'd need to get? (i.e. airline tix, hotel, etc...)

The cost for Dragon*Con membership is $60. The cost will go up to $70 on May 15, and up to $80 on July 13th.
The 3 host hotels are around $150 a night. There are overflow hotels that are cheaper.
