Neko- I understand completely...I always have the urge to scream ASSESS THIS but I've managed to work past it. Oh and evacuation drills bite big time. I've been reduced to offering the kids candy to get out of the building in a timely manner without trampling anyone and staying in their assigned area so we can get a head count...If there's ever a real fire, they will all die:(

For me it'd be essay writing ( one teacher taugh an amazing technique that I still use and teach today..guaranteed perfect essay_)

That and writing. I was always encouraged to write creatively. I'm grateful for that.

how to avoid being the weirdest person in the building ^^

okay, adding more then a one-liner, I'ma gonna have to stand with neko on the starbucks issue, although i'd go further, given that i've basically given up on getting a nice coffee when i'm out, don't see the point in paying £3 a pop when i can make nicer coffee myself *grumbles* but starbucks are one of the worst of the brood...insipid, flavourless coffee, prepared hamfistedly and just...yech >.<

sounds like a shit deal you got RIMG, but i've no doubt they'll figure out what a collossal mistake they made and rectify things in no time ^^ well, unless you're lot have a beaurocracy anything like our lots, in which case they'll figure out it wasa cock up in no time, and then spend three years tacitly blaming everyone else and refusing to do anything about it >.<

but, hey, it'll add to the compensation money xD

Let's see... my parents taught me to read by the time I was four... and they instilled in me intense curiosity and an enjoyment of learning... so I'd have to go with Algebra (or, more generally, logical problem-solving skills).

Did you know that salt and road chemicals they put down to de-ice stuff causes potholes? Black snow, snow drifts on rooftops - what's up with that? The snow here will never, ever melt.

Okay. I made that last one up, but the rest is true! The potholes are not good on heavily trafficked roads (they're not as bad as L.A. or New York, but we never have any potholes, so this is bad). And, with our luck, it will probably snow again.

::sighs::

I want so desperately to still like all that snow, but there's just no end...

only got a short span before i go out again for an hour... thought i'd update...

lighting designer caught me this morning on gmail chat, and... well, no dice. I'm not sure i know what to feel about this, cause if she really was eager about such a relationship upon offering, she wouldnt be the lighting designer i've come to love.

And yes magdachan (i think that is the affectionate ending and -san is the teacher ending lol, so we may have it backwards) you were right, this didnt destroy our friendship, but i do think its a lot more awkward... on my side.

Oh well, gotta run, will be back in an hour, sorry to barge in.

No Problems: Actually, that just meant there were no new problems that I had to deal with. I've still got disembodied guilt, feelings of worthlessness and hopelessness, a primal fear of physical contact, and some minor tummy ache from my meds.

Of course, even the best have to qualify their victories.
