I'd be done by now, were it not for the pin heads at Blockbuster. Friday afternoon, I'm expecting 3 Blockbuster dvd envelopes in the mail, disc 2,3 and 4 of S7. Sure enough, there they are. All 3, ready for viewing.

I get inside, and open the 1st one...Season 7 Disc 4, it says. I hurridly open the next one...Season 7 Disc 3. Ah ha! By process of elimination...ok, y'all are one step ahead of me by now. I pull out the sleeve of the last DVD, and it says - Season 7, Disc 2. YES! I slip the DVD out and fire up the player. I sit down to enjoy, when I noticed something odd.... On the menu screen, I read episode titles..Hell's Belles, Normal Again...wtf? This seems rather..familiar. Bastards sent me the wrong gorram disc!! Season 6, disc 5?? GRRRRRRR! It was in the right sleeve, even. DAMN!

I peeked ahead on disc 3, just to get a feel of what was up next..and holy crap! What did I miss here ? Sheesh.

So now I must wait for the right disc to show up in the mail before I can finsh out the last few episodes.

I had that same problem when I tried Blockbuster, several times. Then I switched to Netflix and never had a mixup again.

Enjoy the series, AURaptor! I was lucky enough to watch the last three episodes of Buffy at a convention in a theatre packed full of hyper fans. It's an experience I will never forget. I was literally drunk on emotion when it finished.

You should maybe try switching to Netflix, AURaptor. Their service isn't perfect (I think we've gotten four broken discs in the past year), but they do tend to be on time with the shipments. Which seems to be a problem with Blockbuster for some reason.

Alas, I don't belong to Blockbuster JUST for the movies. There's games too! Specifically, 2 free game rentals a month. That alone practically pays for the crappy service.

And joy..the dvd came Tuesday, so I watched all of disc 2,3, and 4. Stayed up WAY too late, btw. Sooooo much nicer to watch them in sequential order. Kinda like Firefly episodes, ya know ? Seems the same rules apply.

Yeah Chis, I could have bought the whole set and be done with it. But ya get more posts on fff.net by me whining about renting the eps...isn't that much more fun?
