Folks, only one additional tip... you will need to open swf file with your browser. For some reason, my system didn't have a app associated to .swf. It does now!

I just cast my vote for Firefly......it's the first time I've voted for anything since voting for George McGovern in 1972.
The latest update said Firefly was # 3 !!!
OK...now please someone tell me what is expected to happen, or what is the purpose of the poll?
Firefly is all I watch......all other TV is rutting crap.

Well if we keep outvoting the other fandoms eventually our show will be number 1 in the poll. Which answers both parts of your question I think. Really it's just something to do to remind the universe that we are still here and still dedicated to our BDHs.

The main purpose is to be number one. Why do we want to be number one? Because it shows to the world out there that we are a very active and commited fanbase, with dedicated fans who love their show. This way they cannot forget we exist. If we keep on reminding them we may have some control over a new series. And it draws attention to Firefly, which brings new viewers.
And because we don't want to be beaten by the Xena and Bonanza fans, who are also very active and committed. Not as committed as us, but still.
They, of course, had a bit of a headstart (The Xenites started voting about a year ago)

Thanks Canter & Daveshayne for responding. I'm new to this "fan" thing, although I've been addicted to Firefly since the DVD set came out.
When I watched " Done The Impossible " I first realized what the world of Firefly really was.....those Browncoats & Fillionairres in the documentary were amazing....everything they did to assist Joss along the way to getting a movie...just outstanding!...I almost cry watching it, it's so good!
I will keep voting every hour ( at work ) for our BDH's, although I think Zena is gonna be hard to beat....that show has a "special" advantage if ya know what I mean....not that there's anything WRONG with that!....but Zena...gimme a break...it was pretty lame and retarded even compared to Hercules whicj I liked. or Cleopatra 2525 which I loved....Also gre up in the 60's so Bonanza was a big part of my youth...a great show....great morality lessons...but hardly the absolute gem that Firefly is..I mean was...I mean...whatever...Thanks!
