Just a note......

I was searching around filmsite.org. They actually report the same dialogue inconsistency regarding the number of escaped replicants.

At least I'm not nuts.

Just watching the movie through again, at the beginning of the film he's sent to kill four replicants. After he shoots one he's told "just four more", which is when he finds out about the disapearance of rachael.

Well I remember the count was six who escaped and one got fried. This is before Rachael ran away. She was still under the illusion she was human when Ford was called to the police station. Then when they showed him the profiles, of the Nexus 6 that escaped, there are only four. So someone missed that line in the editing department.
