Buffy season 7 vs. Angel season 5: which do you like better?

Personally, I love Buffy's final season, and only got Angel S5 to get at the last bits of Spikey goodness in the Joss'Verse.
While I'm willing to admit that AtS5 is arguably a higher quality product, my soul belongs to Sunnydale.
How about y'all?

I don't share your love for either series' final seasons. Both are my least favorite seasons, but I would have to say that Angel 5 is a bit better.

angel S5, easily, I think it was the best season of buffy or angel 
but I know I'm in a minority there

I won't say it's the best of all seasons, but AtS season five, hands down. And to prove my point, I have two words: "Smile Time".
Anyone who can't love puppet Angel beating down Spike (or doing the hero strut with the broad sword on his shoulders) is a cold soul indeed.

Dang it Chrisisall you ask the toughest questions....
After much consideration I'd have to say Buffy. If only for the important fact that there is a definitve conclusion to the whole mythos. Granted it's somewhat flawed at times and certian contrivances tend to just spring up, but it sees our hero's through to the end, and each one of them has a resolve. That is key I think. For me anyway.
Angel saddly didn't have the chance.

I like them both, but also feel that neither is one of the stronger seasons of their respective series.
I think I will go with Buffy S7 over Angel S5, simply because I think Angel S5 is more hit-and-miss (as is the series overall). That said, both shows have some brilliant eps in their final seasons, I just thought that neither of them really got going quickly enough and had more filler than usual.

Angel Season 5 - but I think this is more a reflection of the previous seasons of Angel. The widely accepted slump of season 4 meant it was fantastic to see Angel get back on track. Buffy Season 7 was great, but there were a couple of plot holes that I struggled to ignore.
