Roxy, they were a lot of fun. Long moments of standing around and then all hell breaks loose! Whee!
And the walls were covered with people! Sometimes the fighters would even take a break and watch from the walls. It was a very pretty site, right near the water....cool breezes and a sunny day.

I found the picture threads waaay late, have only seen the last one or two other than this. Things have been crazy busy here, so I wasn't able to post lots, so I lurked for a while I guess, but I wouldn't call it lurking cause...well, i didn't check in on anything until after I started posting again. lolforgive me if you've posted pictures and I haven't responded yet. I didn't want to respond so late (even though I appreciate that you did, guess I shouldn't have over-thought it). That goes to everyone else's that I haven't responded to. *hugs everyone in apology!* I shall get to responding on any future picture endeavors!

You are just too cute. There's nothing to apologize for. If we feel left out, believe me we'll let ya know. We all have the same problem: we're stuck with regular jobs and such that interfere with the important things in life like FFF.net.
Anyway I was really glad to see your pictures because you will always be special to me for starting one of the most engaging and courteous discussions I've ever been party to, here or anywhere else and it just showed what shiny folk we Browncoats are at heart. Religions/Beliefs of Browncoats. When the rest of the country/world is busy tearing each other up verbally and physically, we stood tall, said our peace and moved over so the next person could talk. I will always be proud of that, and I'll always have you to thank for it.
Enough gushing. Better quit before we all

Quote:Aw, thanks, PhoenixRose. It was easy: I just pretended it was Jayne. UM! I mean! I just pretended it was...er...pizza. Yes! That's it. Pizza. (Had a nice tang to it. Forgive the pun.)

And since I don't know any better, I'll believe you're innocent façade. That picture is proof, after all. The only thing missing was adorable pigtails. I don't know what everyone else is talking about. (Completely fooled, that's me.)
Tristan:
I maintain plausible deniability in all things...but it may not be pure coincidence that I work for a company specializing in cardiac implants.
RoxyFreefall: Hee hee, thanks. I bet you could take a killer knife cleaning photo if you could maintain composure. (Just pretend you're giving a kitten a bath!) It's tough, sure, but some of the neatest photos I've taken are the ones where I feel like a dork doing it. Like, um, that knife one! *snikker*
EngineAngel: Thanks! I don't mind you saying. Makes me blush, but I'll recover. And, side tracking... I think I spied you in that Kaylee costume at D*C! That was awesome. *heart!* Gonna wear it D*C 2007 ??
JohnnyQuest!! - yeah, that's right. It was you. I also remember you saying something about how you figured I could cross the line into creepifying with ease...? Does this work?

I'm getting such a mixed vibe here. There's the Crocodile Dundee-sized Norman Bates knife wielding. Then we have an Anne Rice-inspired costume (but better; I have a thing for elegant vampiresses). The Princess Amidala lips. A batshit mad Lizzy Boredom, excuse me, Borden expression and somewhat wilded hair.
If it's not Creepified, it certainly has passed the mark for most esthetic depiction of the Classical gothic horror genre as presented by the post-modern expressive artistic representation. Does that work?
EDIT: If you really wanted it to be creepifying you would have to hop in your jeep and come to Michigan, a land without enough imagination to be mythical, and STALK ME.
(The whole effect of course is ruined by the cute sweet swirling flower below it.)

I see I missed a few shiny pics in the last couple of days - and I think I could take you in a fight ShinyKitten!! It must take most of your time to look so amazing and change your costumes so you cannot possibly take me on and win...
My Mei Mei on the other hand could permaybehaps... if her innocent look is anything to go by...
ah Tristan
... *sigh* another fine set of pictures qing ren...
Engine Angel I adore all the photos you've posted - I am a Kaylee girl too and the manipulated ones are so very cool - how do you still manage to look gorgeous and unearthly at the same time??
I was going to post another picture of me but I couldn't get Photobucket to work for me...
sorry everyone... will share something soon though!

is that IRubMyDucky?
Ah! What is not a dream by day
To him whose eyes are cast
On things around him with a ray
Turned back upon the past?
