I never thought I would have to point out that "evar" is internet slang / phonetic bullshit. You know. Like "ur" or "l8r" or poking fun at common mispellings like "pron."

I will be sure to add clauses and addendums to my comments from now on.

HK - I wuz gonna, but the thread was in your court and I figured it was not only your right and your responsibility, you ought to be the one getting satisfaction.

Causal - The other reason wuz you ain't never said nuthin' or done nuthin' agin me so's I weren't about to start nuthin'. Best be watchin' HK's kitty claws; they might seem tiny but my do they sting when she catches you with 'em. So I've heard...

"Well, here I am...Does that seem right to you?"

And I never thought I'd have to point out that the little wink-y face thing means "I'm just teasing you."

I will be sure to add [ teasing ] [ /teasing ] to my comments from now on.

You're going to a very special level of heaven. A level they reserve for those who are good sports and have a sense of humor.

…and now for something completely different…

Some very fine hats, (I mean photos) indeed.
Now, as some of you may know, I have a ranch in Texas. A couple of times a year we round up the cattle for “working”. I won’t go into the details, but suffice it to say, everything we do is for the well being of the animal. Anyway, my niece brought two of her college friends, who just happen to be here from Japan for a semester. One young lady was raised near Kyoto and was somewhat familiar with farming and rural life. The other is from Tokyo and a city girl. They knew a little English – and I know absolutely no Japanese, so communicating was a little tricky, (my niece has learned enough from them to translate a bit). To my surprise, they were very eager to help with the work. We usually have a few “cowboys” come over to help out and try to make the job as much fun as we can, although getting kicked or stepped on by a 500 pound steer can change your mood pretty quick.

Just thought you might like to see a few photos.

The first one is of my two nieces and the Japanese cowgirls.

Thank you, Dayve! They look like they had fun. I assume there is a 500lb steer on the end of the rope in the last photo?

You're right. I'm sorry.

I need to make a point of not responding to threads while I'm at work. Constant aggravation from co-workers & the automatic defensive position I need to take at work made me read that wrong.

Yup, that'll do it every time.

Work life: "Attention span--shortening! Tolerance for bullshit--decreasing! Temper--rising! Must--make it--til 5..."
