Whim: I'm a bit of a loner too. I've been living in this town for about four and a half years now and have had a real hard time meeting new people. Most of my friends are online (browncoats and others) and that's good to have them to chat with, but when you want to actually hang out with someone, it's not quite the same. I'm sure you can relate to this as well - just one of those many things we have in common.

Ok So I am currently wearing a skirt ( not that short about 2 inches above knee) and a boatneck sweater. I am still putting things away and cleaning my room, but it's dress for success Tuesday and we're supposed to wear office level attire. So I'm up on the shelf leaning out trying to hang something and slightly bent. One of my students( who has problems with impusiveness) blurts out " hey your panties match your skirt." So I right myself as the other boys shush him and he appologizes. I get down and start working on something else and ( I have ears like a bat and hear very well) I hear another one whisper to the first kid..." if her panties are red they match the bra" and I realize one of my bra straps is showing because my sweater's askew from all the moving things.... :embarrassed: SOOOOOO Embarrassed may need to crawl in hole! Am rushing out to purchase oversized sweatshirts, turtle necks and pants!
LOL! Li'l Sis - I did something much worse this week myownself!! (I was in Haven at the time, so a couple of you might know this) I am house-sitting for a new client and I thought that you basically couldn't see anything from the car park at the back of the flats... so when the dog was scratching to come in, and I'd recently got out of the shower and managed to get my bra and undies on, I went to the back door and let her in... at the rather loud sound of the door scraping on the frame I realised a young, male driver (was still on 'P' plates so probably between 18-21) had turned around and was literally getting the full view - I think his jaw actually dropped!!
I was so embarassed I just had to run to the computer and tell Phoenix, Nico, Q & Silence all about it!!
Thank goodness I decided to go with the lack bra and matching black undies rather than the pink undies I almost put on!!*hugs her Li'l Sister in solidarity!*
Edit: Oh dear - now I feel like I've just hijacked the thread with my own silliness... believe me it did happen though!

...not so very long ago I'd have thought that there could be nothing sounding more like an oxymoron... but the power of the written word has got me hot and bothered more than once in recent times so... although I haven't, I might consider it... yeah! Why not! It would be better than nothing if it was with someone you hope to be with IRL, or better-still actually already have a relationship with then it would be enhancing, rather than substiuting for the real thing in the long run? So no - but I would seriously consider it with the right person! Hey - I keep kissing you guys all the time, don't I? Imponderers

It's not that bad, if there's nothing else to be done. And it is an interesting perspective to have in a way.
I've never had a huge circle of friends, but I am very close to the ones I have. It takes a lot of energy to be close to even a few people, so I don't think I could survive knowing a doxen people and trying to find time for all of them. Even you shiny people here take a pretty big whack of my time ya know?

Magda, LOL. I suppose the only thing worse would be if it was someone that you knew, and that you would have to see him face to face in the near future. Life is definitely funny (embarrassing sometimes, but definitely funny).
