...that she's trying to live a normal life with Dawn, or that she's out there kicking evil ass as was rumoured in Angel's season 5 (I say rumoured, because we don't actually SEE her...)

'Normal' Chrisisall

She's probably still shagging the Immortal.

I don't think Buffy could ever give up being a Slayer - remember in 'Helpless' when she had to deal with not being the slayer anymore she said somealong the lines of "Now I've seen what's out there how could I go back to being normal" (I totally got that wrong). So she could never not be a slayer, knowing that by inaction innocent people would die.
So I figure she's fighting the good fight, but, in style.

Well, we'll all find out what she's really been doing soon... Joss has started to write a season 8 comic book that will debut in March. It's a real canon direct-from-Joss's brain story that's supposed to go for 20+ issues (like a full tv season).

I don't think Buffy wants a normal life. I think she wants the option of a normal life. Like, maybe she could take a weekend off and hang out at the beach and not worry so much about an apocalypse since she has thousands of other slayers to back her up. She likes kicking ass, but she didn't like having the burden of being the chosen one. Faith is out of the slammer and not evil plus there's bunches of other little slayerettes running around. Once there's a good solid core of well-trained slayers I'd imagine there would be a lot less of that woe is me, I'm all alone angst that Buffy always had. That's not to say her life is angst-free, then she wouldn't be Buffy. But no, definitely not a normal life whatsoever.

Dating an immortal...something (I keep thinking she's dating Methos from Highlander ) is a definite sign she's not a regular co-ed American girl gone wild in Rome.

If you want to know more about the upcoming comic, there's a nice long interview with the artist:

Joss said she's still slaying, so she's still slaying. As for the did she/didn't she have sex with Spike at the end there, when Joss said it was up to us to decide what we wanted to believe, I say, no, absolutely not, she's cookie dough, and until Joss says otherwise, I'm doubting the seriousness of her relationship with the Immortal, too.

I'm holding out for Buffy and Xander, gorrammit!!!
