Oh, duh, what I meant to say was "yay Safe!" for continuing to work on your Boros adventure. I think I devoured the rest of the story and then didn't yet get a chance to write comments for you. I will do so as soon as I get some free time (whenever that will be!). I think it's awesome you're working on character development. Even if you don't get to reveal all the background tidbits on a person in your story, I'm sure the greater knowledge of your characters will help enrich your text. Good luck! Whoa... that's a whirlwind trip! Funny thing, I was camping/fishing near Algonquin a couple of weeks ago.

Hope you at least enjoyed the nature even if the airport was a hassle.

I've got a character background for you too, it's just not finished yet. I'll gradually get them all done.

Hi Flechette!
So I'm heading down to visit a friend and archives in Atlanta this weekend, and will be passing through NC and SC Wed & Thur by car... don't you live somewhere in one of those states? I would love to see you at some point (I'll be driving back up the next week and stopping to do research at Duke U.)! Also, if you had suggestions for cheap places to stay (wow, travel is so expensive!) or sites to see along the way, I would really appreciate it, never been south of Richmond before!

Ooops, after my first hasty message I reread your reply to me earlier and see that your in Greensboro--we were planning to stop there Wednesday night anyway as it's half way to Atlanta from DC (I have a grant with the Smithsonian so that's where I'm stationed). Any recommendations of cheap places to eat/stay in Greensboro would be super appreciated by me and Chris (bf)! And if you're not free this week, maybe next week on our way back up north? That would be early in the week, Monday or so. Hope to see you! Just let us know,

Hi Serenity! This is horrible last minute notice, but my boyfriend and I have just planned to drive down to Atlanta this week so I can visit archives and we can visit his college roommate over the weekend. We're leaving Wed, stopping midway for the night, and finishing the drive Thur. So we will be passing your way? hopefully? Thursday and would love to meet up. Or we'll be coming back north early next week, Mondayish... We would love any suggestions of cheap places to eat/stay/attractions to see along the way. Amy - I'll either email or call you later this afternoon with some recommendations. Should be a few hotels in the $50-65 range if thats okay?

Wednesday is a bit iffy - I work 9:30am to 6:30pm normally but I expect I'll be at work at least til 7pm (or later)due to some new systems getting folded into Time Warner sooo let me know which hotel you wind up at and we'll go from there-

Sun, Mon, Tues no problem- currently- again depends on how well these system merge in with us :-}

Looks like I went AWOL that time. RL tapped my shoulder then gave me a sucker punch! After my sister joined the Army she got married within the year! We've never met her hubby and his parents never met my sister. At least I can take comfort in knowing that Both sets of parents have met and seem to enjoy each others company.
Now on to official business

Soul paces the hallways, searching for anyone, anything, but there is silence. Finally he hears a laugh, and heads down to the passenger dorms to investigate. Throwing open the first door he comes to--he sees Jazaf, and all three Lovebots, in a rather uncompromising position. Spinning around quickly, Soul clears his throat.

"Er...Jaz, I could really use your help on the bridge. I got a wave for our next job. I kinda need you to lay out the whole...nav...thing..."

Without waiting for a response, Soul walks quickly away to search for the rest of his wayward crew.
