Aha. So #11 is policing the entire FFF.net website. She puts the 500-pound "guerilla" in marketing.

Just protectin' the integrity, and purpose, of this thread dude.

Interesting, Dian Fossey likes it too...

Are you now resorting to lame tactics to support your paranoid fantasies?

What's the matter, not enough traffic on your news website so you gotta post your rants here? C'mon....

11th Hour

P.S.
I'm done moving your posts. If you continue this behavior, it will be considered harassment and I will take the appropriate action.

You've got a website. Go work on it

I get up to 16,000 vistors per day on my 40+ websites. Plus my TV show reaches 110,000 TV sets. Plus my videos are broadcast on internet to untold 100,000s by Google, Indymedia, MySpace and Archive.org. FFF.net is just a tiny speck of dust in comparison. But Joss has a point to make with the Real World, contrary with those of you who choose to live in a fantasy world. So I do my humble part to relay Joss' message, which included broadcasting my FF music video to 110,000 homes via cable TV.

As for the Real World of Gangsta Govt's tortured mind-controlled slaves (aka River):

He was still wearing the clothing he had on the day he was taken. He is bound and gagged. The second photo is three boys all bound gagged. The boy on the far right is my son, Johnny. We do not have the identity of the other two boys. We are currently working with the police and the National Center for Missing Children in hopes of learning the identity of the other two boys. There are two families who would probably like to have news of their children. If anyone viewing the second photo knows who these boys are, please contact me." -NOREEN GOSCH, AUGUST 2006

These photos look like the photos of JonBenet Ramsey's dead body in her CIA parent's house:

Then John Ramsey campaigned for US Congress, to join all the other pedophile slave traders.

Cathy O'Brien and her lobotomized daughter Kelly were also composited into River's character, after being sold to the pedophiles in US Congress and the White House.

Even Scifi's Battlestar Galactica had a scene where pedophile sex slave traders were shown running the fleet, and even the military was afraid of them. Sounds like the scriptwriters were plagerizing the O'Brien family.

Don't you folks realize we're in the middle of a Civil War, and Tee Vee is the main battleground for Winning Hearts And Minds to overthrow USA for the NWO's global Alliance? Or did you not notice Mal was fighting a Civil War? When are you gonna wakeup to the fact that the current owners of FF are the Real World monsters that Joss warned you about?

What's Ms 800-Pound Gorilla gonna do about THAT? Draw a pretty picture?

BTW, thanx for not censoring my posts. Siberia is quite comfortable this time of year.

Never underestimate the power of Sarcastic Truth.

Writing to Universal can be a very positive and effective endeavor, so long as we do it the right way. I even moved "The Anniversary Job" thread, a letter writing campaign idea, to this guerilla marketing discussion board so that it can be noticed more and included better in our Serenity Summer Campaign.

There are some recent posts in the "Just so we're clear on Universal... " thread that has some valuable insights on how best to communicate with Universal.

You're right 11th, we NEED to write... Joss asked the president of F*X "For his show back, PLEASE, so he could shop it around" the day they were canceled, and the President of F*X said "Yes, That's fine".

I found out this weekend That Joss can take the show Where ever he wants, so we just have to make someone "want it".. Sci-Fi may be the place, if approached right (we discussed Bonnie Hammer's Likes, and dislikes, in another thread)... She's receptive to good ideas when presented in the correct way.

Also, There have been NDA's (Non-Disclosure Agreements) Signed, and Joss is holding his cards close to the vest, but the Actors signed on for THREE movies, and every one I've talked to said "Movies, TV, Whatever".. Hey, Nathan called Alan on the Phone Several times during Dragon*Con.. they keep in CLOSE touch, the cast REALLY likes each other, and REALLY likes the 'verse, They are willing to do whatever it takes..

Joss has "Some other Projects" right now, but the sheer SIZE of the BrownCoat population at Dragon*con was staggering.. and like I said about "one person writing = X-amount that didn't write"... the same thing holds true for Dragon*con (or ANY "Con").. Out of the few of US that went, How many more DESPERATELY wanted to be there but couldn't go? So Every ONE of us that went represented How many more people that WANTED to be there? Atlanta couldn't have held them all... and The Eyes of Universal and Sci-fi were upon us.

The Movie is in the Black, the DVD sales are in the Black and STILL selling more (As in "More than they did last month") every month.

Like I've been saying, We just need to smooth the way for Joss for when he gets ready.. cause it's on his mind, it's on the Cast's Mind, and it's gone far enough That Alan Tudyk and Ron Glass have been told they'll be in "The next movies"...

You are doing the EXACT the right thing, I think the Whole G-Marketing team is doing the right thing... and we just need to keep smoothing the Road, because Universal IS listening, and WANTING to hear...

When a thing "Can't be done", We're the people that get the call, it's how I make my living... this happens to be a personal project that I INTEND to see "Get done". FFF.net has the right people, the right exposure, and the best Ideas I've seen going.. EXACTLY the right combination of items and people to "GET THIS DONE"... So it WILL get done.

BrownCoats don't seem to play the "I want to be the leader" game, so all we need to do is decide on a central meeting place to tie all of the top Browncoat Orgs together so we're all moving in the same direction... EVERYTHING we need is in place, or can be in place when it's needed.. ALL we have to do it get a handle on better coordination.. once THAT'S done, things WILL start moving forward.

So we first need to list the Top BrownCoat (FF/Serenity) Orgs and the people that run them... and we need to contact each one... then we decide on a meeting place, and several Goals (Always work several angles at the same time). Momentum is hard to build at first in something this size, so EXPECT THAT, Don't let a slow start disillusion you, just expect it, it's a normal part of the

Fantastic news! I knew that "back in the day", right after F*X discontinued Firefly, that Joss arranged to be able to shop the show around to place it at another network. But over time we've all gotten a bit fuzzy as to where that all stands now. When facts are lacking, then rumors and assumptions prevail... and the word kept circulating that F*X was hanging onto the Firefly TV rights for at least 10 years, which prevented it from going anywhere else. So good to finally get some word that the option for a TV series is at least on the table with the other possibilities.

It's the unique bond between the actors, and Joss, and the fans, that does so much to keep us motivated to fight on. Firefly/Serenity is a phenomenon, well worth fighting for.

This is awesome news. The fandom and support just keep building. It's always been a matter of us never giving up, and continuing to spread the word. The numbers will keep growing and the studios are gonna notice.

There are so many movies released around the same time that cannot claim the kind of consistent, and growing, sales that Serenity enjoys. This is also the month leading to Serenity 'Versary, so we'll be bringing even more attention to the movie. We're working on reaching out to even more fans, and continuing to build those DVD sales.

Now there's some news to warm the heart. So good to hear.

Thanks for sayin'. We just keep moving forward, and believing. Faith is great, but hearing some actual good news makes a huge difference!

Word. You have the right attitude, and, as fandoms go, I gotta say... ours ROCKS!

Bad2Verse and 11th Hour,

The two of you are getting real work done in this thread. I have organized before, and what I am seeing done here is EXCACTLY what needs to be done to organize a lot of people, but from reading your posts, you already know that. So, I am just offering my services in any way I can. I am busy judging the video contest (Which, by the way, has a few very fine videos in it, I think it would be cool to put a couple on a page of the new site or Myspace page...but I digress) but once I am done with that, I will have a little free time to offer. Please let me know how I can help with these ideas.

Please keep the fire, the two of you are onto something, momentum needs to keep building, and Bad2Verse seems to have a lot of the info and connections that we just couldnt get before. The two of you working together could just do the impossible...

Let's stay in touch on this. Genuinely appreciate your positive energy and dedication to the 'Verse. Good things are happening.

11th Hour

Well, I wanted to get the Site moving FAST again.. it was starting to slip in the search engines and that's not a good thing, but it looks like it WAY back up top again now, LOTS of people seem to be taking a new interest in the boards, which is VERY good.. as long as the boards are moving, we have a crowd, and that will help in our plans in the long run...

You know MUCH more than I about the "Lurker to poster" ratio here... and about Who Belongs to what other organizations..

I think the key here is to keep the Site's ranking HIGH, to get more people involved and talking again, keep the excitement up, and to get key people from other sites in one central spot for something like a monthly meeting to coordinate.

Things only happen if we MAKE them happen.. you seem to have an instinctive grasp on that fact, so I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

With the anniversary coming up...I was wondering if an ad pool has started to purchase an ad in "Variety" or "LA Times" to celebrate?

I know Brokeback Mountain fans were able to raise lots of money and place ads in major publications throughout the US.

Should we be trying to do the same?

Any interest in this?
We all bring different skills to our interest to our love of Firefly and what I'd like to try is a spec article on the show, the fanbase, for a woman's general service magazine.
This would involve interviews with fans, creators, my personal experience, and more to the point, the outcome of the involvement with the series. Many science fiction stories appeal enough to fans to have them show up in costume at 'Cons. What is unique about the fan base for Firefly is the outgrowth of initial interest in the series as a jumping off point for additional creative acts that include almost equal male and female participation. This is a far cry from my first Star Trek 'Con experience where I was the oddity, a woman (girl at the time) interested in science fiction.
Rather than wallow in a cancelled show, Firefly has provided people (of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, sex, etc) a jumping off place to create and seek additional information. Which one of us hasn't made a costume, learned some Mandarin, create fan fiction, become involved in charity, design websites, create Done the Impossible DVD, and clubs?
Firefly was more than an interesting concept that included great writing and pretty actors. growth of the characters. What other series could include a mercenary like Jayne - dangerous to all, casually without comment, brushing the hair of one of the working girls in HoG without any diminishment of his 'bad to the bone' persona?
I cannot guarantee that I can get it published in a wide circulation publication but it certainly seems worth the effort.
Can I stir any interest here, with possible interviews and use of pictures?
I'm going to post this on the SEBC, fff.net and OB as well and if anyone knows anywhere else I can see if there is any interest, please let me know.

Hey...
I just want to say that is a shiny idea. I as a man, don't know if I can participate(its a woman's magazine right?), but I think thats terrific. Any exposure is great, and the 1st Anniversary of the movie Release(and approximately 4th Anniversary of the tv show release), is a perfect "excuse" to talk about the fandom, and how much has occured and been accomplished in these past few years.

Oh and for those talkingabout paying for a 1 page ad etc... 11th Hour has posted.. .which oucld be a better use of money and potentially more coverage...
