And on the topic of Mila Jovovich (however you spell it), what about the Resident evil movies? I know some folks are gonna kill me for this but I actually enjoyed the first one. It wasn't a great movie but I thought it was fun. No, it didn't have any characters from the game but I liked that. The characters aren't the most important parts of RE. What's important are Umbrella and Zombie type monsters. The second movie tried to fit thier characters into the game world and screwed it up royaly. The Nemesis had horrible makeup and what was with the ending? Since when are there head explody type telekinetics in the world of RE?!??

I enjoyed both the Resident Evil movies, but then I love zombie/mutant flicks. My all time favorite zombie film is Shaun of the Dead. That movie is absolutely hilarious.
Morbid and creepifying I got no problem with, so long as you do it quiet like.

I tend to as well. RE2 mostly bothered me for the wierd things it does to the universe it is a part of. I probably shouldn't have brought it up here but it was in my head.

I admit to liking Armageddon I mean I don't give it 5 stars or anything(4 stars),& I watched Steel Magnolias recently & thought it was okay(3 stars).
I'll keep quiet now...
The most offensive movie ever is easily Star Wars Episode I,okay Revenge Of The Sith is the most dissapointing but Episode I is the worst.Most offensive scene's...Jar Jar Binks he is a f**king knob head who doesn't add anything to the movie, he(it)only makes the movie f**king worser.

I think I'll got with any of the SW 'prequels.'
The first was inane, poorly written and ham-handedly edited, as previously pointed out. Jar Jar is a whole other discussion I'd rather not have.
The second had me doing evil Willow quotes in less than five minutes. ("Bored now.") The complete lack of acting ability of CH combined with the negative chemistry between him and NP was just mind-boggling. Didn't they screen test them together?! If so, just how drunk was Lucas when he made that decision?
And the third. Even more yawn-making than the second. The only good thing I can say about it is that the big fight scene plays much better if you Mistie it with the Black Knight's dialogue from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. (Heard tell of a showing in Yooper Country where that actually happened due to bored theater-goers combined with the film breaking at the so-called climax of the fight.)
There are two other films I wish I had walked out on: Clash of the Titans and Troy. Bad acting, bad scripting & playing too fast & loose with mythology. In both cases.
Still never walked out on a SF/F film. I have walked out on a horror flick (at 12 I discovered it just wasn't for me--I left after 20min of 'Jaws.' Never have seen the rest of it and I haven't regretted it either.)

ultraviolet was pretty bad. it was the total lack of humor. felt nothing like real life.
war of the worlds, not the tom cruise one, but the independent one that came out about the same time. oh my gawd, what a horrible piece of crap. that movie should come with a written apology.
i liked the tom cruise wotw better than i expected except for dakota fanning's character. i would've had to shook that little whiner til she popped.
and in the not a sci fi category, i was absolutely offended by the marketing for lost in translation. trying to pass that piece of go-se off as funny and interesting.
never really been morally or physically grossed out by a movie. a clockwork orange wasn't nearly as offensive as it could have been. some of the nastier stuff from the book was toned down a bit.
