Crude, gross or sexually in-appropiate, take your pick. (I guess insulting your intelligence would count, too...*)
My most offended moment came during the rape/beating scene in A Clockwork Orange. Not to say it wasn't a good movie, I just found that scene exceptionally disturbing, I suppose.
And all of Forbidden Zone* was offensive; if you haven't seen it- don't.

"The great Barrier" in Star Trek V is completely insulting both to my intelligence, and to the entire Trek franchise.
Do not fear me. Ours is a peaceful race, and we must live in harmony.

What are you talking about, I love Forbidden Zone. Who didn't love Micheal Ironside in that? "I'm feeling rather energetic today."
For me there was ONE movie that to this day I hate even mentioning the name. I saw it with my brother not thinking it would be that bad, and I nearly passed out and threw up. Event Horizon. Had nightmares for a year. I kid you not.
Most offensive, to women, to art, and just too hardcore, Sincity. Another one I nearly got sick while watching.

Quote:No, that was Spacehunter: Adventures In The Forbidden Zone you're talking about. Class-A cheese, very fun.

Forbidden Zone starred Herve Villachez and was a musical from the guy that wrote most of Rocky Horror- we couldn'r BELIEVE it was SO bad!!!
Event Horizon was creepy with no point.

I would have to agree it's A Clockwork Orange too, even though overall I think it is a very well made film. But in Kubrick's defense, it is my opinion that scene was intended to be repulsive, to paint a picture of just how depraved Alex was.

Oooooh, my bad. I saw Forbidden Zone and didn't realize it was another movie. So it was a movie by Richard O Brian? Your not talking about the horrible (they never should have even bothered) sequel of Rocky are you?
And yes, Adventures is class A cheese and one of my favorites. I watched it all the time when they played it on TV. Sadly it's been a long time since then.
"Will you please be quite, I am trying to rescue you."

Got to agree with you there. I didn't have that bad a reaction to Event Horizon, but it's the only film (Sci-Fi or otherwise) that's really left me feeling disturbed.Maybe it's the script, the great acting or whatever, but it definitely creeped me out for a while. Most offensive scene for me as well, although probably necessary for a script, is the short shot of the original crew - creepy ripping their eyes out.
To this day, it's the only film I've never rewatched - yep, it had that much impact on me anyway.

I felt the same way about The Hulk. That is, in between the several bouts of dozing off.
