Shadow snuck silently into the decorated room and slipped over to the table of gifts quickly depositing two packages.
She and Ghost had worked hard to get these gifts ready, after all, these people had been nice so far anyway. And babies were innocent.
Her mission complete the girl slipped out of the room, Ghost was waiting as was the odd room she had found. Maybe she and Ghost could stay there.
(The packages are wrapped in old newspaper and not wrapped well (hey they're just kids), on one is something resembling the letter Y and another the letter S because neither girl can read or write well Y for Yeti and S for Serenity)

**jake7 snags the camera and goes about taking pictures of the gift table, the guests who have already arrived and of the new family. She looks at the camera after taking about 20 pictures and mumbles to herself**
I hope this thing has a lot of memory! I plan to take a LOT of pictures!

Snarky arrives with gifts for the bambinos from SR. For Seraphina there is a bungee tether that allows her to fly around without flying away. For SY a heavy duty hammock made from braided kevelar cord.

seryn chucks chins and pulls funny faces at the little darlings for all she's worth, then after pointing out Sera's bunny (the one with the bow doing hands stands) she invites one of the yeti to chose a rabbit for SY, then follows snarky back to where SR is, talking to jet.
With a brief wave, she settles down cross-legged in the most out of the way looking corner she can spot, and with chin resting on palm, watches the two engineer types work.

SR notices the arrival of Seryn and gives her a look and a nod. He confers with Jet and they both agree that the main drive is humming along just fine. He double checks the status and finds that it's all quite stable.
"How about we dial it down to 20% of capacity and let it be for the next eighten hours?" He proposes to Jett.
"Sounds good. Till then" She replies.
SR walks over to Seryn and smoothly lifts her up onto her feet and into his embrace.
"So just what exactly do you have in mind?" He asks as he stares deep into her eyes.

ah ha! *runs back to the common room and hands off a scrapbook to Serenity for all the captures of Sera as she grows up*
