Noticeable by their absence are Hero and AURaptor. Maybe they can't think of anything positive to say about the administration now that a thread has come along that actually wants to hear their point of view.
Keeping with the topic, together with the tears of sorrow there have also been tears of laughter, as the administration has given us all something to laugh about on many occasions. It has also effectively made the careers of folks such as Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert.
Other people can occasionally be useful, especially as minions. I want lots of minions.

Okay, chrisisall, I hope I'm following your directions.

Is it really a positive when you have to repair the organization that your appointee has broken? Compare FEMA before James Witt was the director to FEMA under his management to FEMA after he was replaced as director. Three completely different organizations, only one of which was competent. The Alpaugh/Brown FEMA was only a pale shadow of Witt's FEMA by the time Katrina hit. And we all witnessed the results.

Quote:Come now SoupCatcher! Valid criticism is fine, but it's a PROVEN FACT that no one could have truly understood Katrina's effect on the levees, no matter how many may have correctly predicted it!
