Well, I may have beach front property in my children's lifetime (possibly mine)... without having to move. Currently, 6 miles inland. A plus.

...and according to fictional mob boss Tony Soprano:
"FEMA’s down there handing out Krugerands in buckets

...

Dick Cheney for president… of the f%*#in’ universe"

Thats something right? ermm... Thats something left?

http://hammeroftruth.com/category/dick-cheney/

...all I got right now. please someone else chime in.

Oh... and Superman is sitting to the right of Jesus in The Last Supper. (Jeezy's right)

Wha?!?... *sniff sniff* OH.... IM ON FIRE!!!

We must get ready for the next attack which must be made upon this communistic administration. Horace Haase of America First.

But actually I was also thinking of the German American Bund (not heard of that? you can read about it in those history books we've been talking about) which was hardly a small time movement.

Or maybe you'd like to talk about the Order of 76?

Or perhaps you'd prefer to discuss the Silver Shirts?

The Christian Mobilizers maybe?

Or there's the 1930's Republican party that employed many Nazi's high up in the national and state Republican party organisations. The Republican party of the time also had many links to the Nazi party in Germany.

Or we can talk about the Imperialistic English who "en-slaved" half the world as their "piggybank" or the more generally accepted term Commonwealth. That is of course after introducing syphillis et al but making up for it by saving all of the pagans from their own eternal damnation.

70 or 700 years ago, what is past is past man. But we should remember the past in order to better shape the future. Just doing my part in case any of you Brit's are starting to feel imperialistic again.

De-lurking to stir stuff up.

...Kept buildings (over 50 stories high) erect and without fire(Cool in my manual).
...Manned the ship as economy and financial markets rebounded(Presidents get blamed when these fault-er on their watch..they should also receive credit when they rebound)
...Speaking of credits: LOVED MINE
...Told UN.."We aim to misbehave!"..and followed through.
...I'm sure over the objections of his advisers, has taken upon himself the burden of changing the pronunciation of the word "terror".
...Aids funding for Africa.
...Hopefully a wall between us and Mexico...Even better a bridge straight to Canada.
...Laughs every time France complains about our governments actions around the world.
...understands the Liberal / Muslim extremist paradox. And still protects liberals from this without their knowledge.
...Once told a Norwegian diplomat.."SSH, you can talk when someone tells me where the hell Norwegia is".

OOOOOOH!!! I KNOW! I KNOW!! (waves hand wildly, sits up straight in seat) ME ME!!

I KNOW what Bush did that was good! He really believes in rehabilitation of criminals and deviants. He has a wide variety in his Administration! Ex-addicts, alcoholics, felons, and adulterers, and deeply closeted gays. Now how's THAT for inclusion???

The ad hominem attack against the English not withstanding (BTW as you say past in the past... how's the CURRENT American imperialistic kick going? Oh no wait you're spreading the light of democracy to the 'pagans' ) this has nothing to do with the topic of what I was talking about (which I recognise had nothing to do with original topic of this thread, but I didn't start off down that road...)

I replied to an accusation that FDR was too weak to fight the Nazis and that the great strong George Bush would have done a better job. I just merely replied to the anti-liberal hate-filled extremist right-wing rant with the fact that in order to go to war with Germany FDR would have had to act like a Dictator, a Nazi if you will, not the democratically elected leader of a democratic nation, will of the people and all that. Also given the right’s ‘obvious’ love of civil freedoms (ho ho ho, that one get’s me every time) it was rather ‘surprising’ to hear a right-winger desire a dictatorship over democracy. Though I suppose, trying to see it from their point of view, if you’re the dictator a dictatorship is just gravy, is not?

Then I had someone who seems to be confused as to their 'Leo-nicity' fall out their pram at me because in their fantasy world the American people wanted a war with Germany and the government was holding them back because the government was too weak, something that's is flagrantly, and lets be fair here, utter and complete crap.

I'm sorry if pointing out that during the 1930's the Republican party had a fairly obvious Nazi connection upsets you to the point you need to bring my ancestry in too question, but frankly it's a fact, as is Britain’s Imperialist past and frankly you bringing it up doesn't bother me one little bit .

Now for all the bad things you can say about Britain we've always stood up for our mates; which is how we got dragged into both World Wars. By comparison the States, erm hasn't. You got 'dragged' into the same conflicts by being attacked, because the prevailing opinion of the populace was that those wars were your allies 'problem' . Personally I think standing by your friends is a redeeming quality, maybe you have a different view?

Disclaimer:
Much of what I just said is a little tongue in cheek, also a bit of a rebuke to the ad hominem on my country of origin, thought I'd better point that out in case you decided to spit the dummy like amIaLion.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!

Just so I know are we talking about:
George W. Bush
Saddam Hussein
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Or someone else? My money's on Saddam, since the whole telling the UN where to go thing was why Iraq was invaded in the first place, wasn't it? Or maybe it was the Oil, or maybe it was a distraction for something, who knows, do you know?

What paradox is that? Perhaps something along the lines of "Muslim extremists will still kill you no matter how nice you are to them"?

Great try except of course the current crop of Muslim extremism is largely a backlash to years of right-wing policies...

Also since when did being a Liberal mean one can not defend oneself?

A favourite accusation of the right "you don't want to go around killing everyone so you're a coward!!" Because the right-wing plan of attacking people weaker than themselves is real brave.

Congratulations, you are the king of knowing about obscure anti-semitic groups that were small time, compared to the overwhelming majority of people who just did not like the Nazis. It makes me wonder whether you are a neo-nazi sympathizer yourself to know so much about these groups. German American Bund was made up of ethnic Germans, it's a wonder why they would be so ethnocentric during a time like the Great Depression.
The Order of 76, Silver Shirts and the German American Bund are all overrated as far as their influence goes unless you believe fervently like you do in such noble causes such as fascism and anti-semitism. Next you are probably going to tell me that the Holocaust never happened. Do yourself a favor and visit the Holocaust museum here in D.C. Although it probably make neo-nazis like yourself squeamish. Don't bother replying, I won't be reading any more of your propaganda. Have a nice day.

I don't get it, Citizen.
You have this strange ability to make peeps view you as something you totally aren't. Are these powers mostly mental?
