The Captain stepped in the galley and sat at the table. Shanti was smiling again and that made me happy. He noticed they were alone and felt okay saying this
"I know you were used your whole life but you strike me as someone who could be a great leader I would really like you to take this position. Whether you take it or not I'm the only one on this boat you call sir understand and I don't know if I'm reading what your relationship with Darren is becoming but I think you should go for it if that's what you want. You deserve it"
The captain smiled at Shanti. She seemed suprised to see him smile. "Now what's your plan"

Banner walks in, scratching his head with a spatula that was lying on the ground.
"Yeah, plan...that's uhhh...good, yeah."
Thinking to himself: Oh go-se, the Captain know I been sleeping this 'ole while?

Shanti thinks about the Captain's words for a long moment. She's not used to saying anything other than sir, or miss, or master. Banner's entrance distracts her from her thoughts.
Shanti cringed when she saw Banner rubbing his hair with a spatula! "Mr. Banner, Si..." She caught herself trying to say 'sir' again. Lords, this free woman thing was harder than she thought! "Errr., Ummm Could you maybe drop that in the autowasher, please?"
She reminded herself to run the dishes through an extra sanitizer cycle after dinner.
Taking the Captain's cue, she slid the schematics in front of herself and pointed to them. "I don't know if we've got the manpower, sir, but it seems to me that the best thing is to get two people through the front door, here."
"Now, most banks have their safety deposit boxes here in the outer vault, so getting there isn't the problem. Once there, we'd need to kidnap a staff member, force them to open the inner vault."
She taps thoughtfully at the maintenance shaft. "This comes right up under the main vault floor, I assume it's got some kind of airshaft entry into the vault, in case someone gets locked in or something."
Shanti waits until everyone nods agreement, and notices that Banner has dropped the spatula onto the counter, not in the autowasher.
"The shaft comes out here, right next to this shuttle dock. I would say, all we need is to get some of us to come into the shuttle dock, come through the maintenance shaft and meet whoever goes in through the front door."
She looks seriously at Mononoke, "Do you think you can tap into their cameras? Somehow make it look like we're still in the outer vault?"
Mononoke looks startled, but reaches for the schematics to see for herself.

Darren walks into the galley and sees mostly everyone at the table looking at something. He walks over to the sink with his mostly picked clean plate and puts it in along with the utensils and the glass.
He says to everyone "So what are ya guys and gals lookin' at and discussin'?"
Captain Faolin speaks up "We're going over the schematics for the job."
"Oh ok then." Darren replies while taking a seat next to Shanti. He continues to say "Is there anything I can do on this job or should I just stay onboard?"

No we need all the help we can get. Gail and I will do the front door part Banner will do the kidnapping, quietly. Darren help Mononoke with the camera and Puro and Shanti be ready to pick us all up.

"Errr, Captain, sir?" Shanti is still looking at the schematics. "Don't you think it would a be a tad less suspicious if you and I go through the front door? Pose as newlyweds opening a safe-deposit box together, or something?"
She glances over at Gail's glare, "'cause pardon me for saying, sir, but I'm afraid Gail doesn't look like the sort of gentleman who banks at Blue Sun Federal Bank."

Darren replies "Will do Cap'n."
Darren gets up and sits next to Mononoke, smiles and says to her "Well then I guess you'll have ta fill me in on what I'm ta do."
Darren chuckles at Shanti's remark about Gail as Mononoke fills him in.

Doc Luap (loo-app) walks into the galley, and pours himself a cup of strong black coffee. He's a lot steadier than the last time he was there, but still looking like hell warmed over.
LUAP: So how can I help out on this job?
He walks over to where Shanti has the schematic laid out, and pretends to study it. As he leans over, he whispers to Shanti:
LUAP: Come to the medbay later, and I'll see what I can do about removing that tattoo.

She nods imperceptably to the doctor. Might be a good time to mention her other problem then as well.
"We'll need to disguise one of the shuttles as a standard courier." Shanti crinkles her brow as she picks at her food. She had put too much on her plate again. "Probably need some kind of fake courier license or something."
