Who here really owns a Browncoat?

Got mine three years ago. It was a gift from my wife & it was the shinyest thing I ever received. I wear it every time I get the chance. If the weather is 60 degrees or cooler I am wearing that coat.
Makes for great advertising too.

Hello. DashboardDino here. I've got a brown leather coat I've had for years, since before I saw Firefly/Serenity. It's not a duster, and it needs some patching up. But it's about the same rusty color as Mal's, and I feel right at home around earth-that-was tones. I'd love to have a duster. It would be intensely shiny if we started just showing up in them, going about our daily business.
I'm new here, by the way. Nice to meet everyone.

I have had the same old brown leather coat for years now. All my friends recoginze me by it because it is the only coat i gorram wear. So, yeah. I was a browncoat before i was a browncoat.
