Thanks for your comments - I guess I'm gonna have to try and put some time aside in the coming months and give that lil story idea a go after all. (Have decided on The Shadow out of Serenity as a title - meant to add that into my last blog and totally forgot).
Don't have anything else to add at the moment - work, studies and other projects are keeping me firmly rooted in the land of insane busy-ness, but I shall try and get some gorram eldritch doings underway eventually*! Just don't be holding yer breath there.
(*And you just know there's gonna be some shiny stygian and cyclopean things there too....) as well as loathesome things to drain your sanity (and I ain't just talking about YoSaffBridge here either...)

I am a big Sci-Fi fan - I love Star Trek, Star Wars (yes, I even love the prequels...and make no apology for it), Buffy, Futurama, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis and Harsh Realm. And of course, the best gorram show and film in the 'verse: FIREFLY and SERENITY!!! (which is why I'm here). I'm also a HUGE H. P. Lovecraft fan (the man was a god! Ia! ia! Cthulhu Fhtagn!!) and also a Stephen King fan.
Still awake? wow, you're doing well...
My interests include creative writing (short Sci-Fi/Horror stories mostly, but hoping to try for a novel one day), Egyptology and Egyptian archaeology (with a liberal helping of Classical Civilisation thrown in) and I hope one day to take these things beyond just being interests and things I study at evening classes), hanging out with my close friends and roleplaying (Star Wars, Call of Cthulhu and Serenity). I also enjoy traveling - especially Egypt which I try and get back to at least once a year if I can - my favourite sites there being Saqqara, Karanis, Tanis, Abu Simbel and Medinet Habu. I am also presently on the committee of the Egypt Society of Bristol (http://www.egyptsocietybristol.org.uk/) as well as member of the Sudan Archaeological Research Society, The Egypt Exploration Society and the Friends of the Petrie Museum.
