In "Out Of Gas" when Mal and Inara are in Inara's shuttle and she tries to talk Mal out of staying aboard Serenity.
She says "You don't have to die alone."
He replies "Everybody dies alone."
Then leaves her standing there.

Oh so many good ones have been said and yea I'm gonna have to repeat a few of them but my faves are as follows...
Firefly:
From out of Gas... Simon's little "It was my birthday.." always gets me, as does Mal's look when he spots Serenity at the end.
Almost all of River and Simon's interactions during Safe, especailly the "Light it." at the end.
Serenity:
Zoe's pleas at Wash after he was killed.. from that point on I'm just blubbering...

Boy that is a good one. It's a real credit to Sean too, that it doesn't come off pouty. It has more of a disappointed tone, disappointed that the moment for all of them was ruined, as opposed to disappointed that his special moment was over.
Great line by a great guy.

my favourite emotional line from the verse is kind of in rivers head in the episode Objects in Space as Mal says

it gets me very single time when his voice chokes on that line, its so powerful
also every line thats already been mentioned here, as well as the music, god the music can make me cry instantly

Thanks everyone, now I'm sitting at my desk crying like an idiot!! (hopefully no one will come in any time soon.)
My biggest sob moment from the series is in Heart of Gold when Wash and Zoe are talking about having a baby. Zoe says "I aint so afraid of loosing something that I ain't gonna try to have it" (or something close to that). It makes me think of the child she will never have and that she must feel the same way about having Wash in her life.
I also wail like a baby at the end of Out of Gas when they pan to Serenity. Gets me every time.
I wail for the last half hour of the movie (every darn time) but definitely the whole sequence where they are repairing the ship kills me and the very end when Mal and River are talking.
I find the more I watch Firefly and the BDM, the more sentimental I get about it. I'm sure you all understand.
