I was tired and a little hungover, and all the screen names I tried before were taken, so I got irritated and started typing random, Firefly-related things in and came up with reaverman. Not a very creative name(I saw a Filk wth the title "here comes the reaver man", so I used that), but I took it, and ,well, I guess that's somethin'.

One of my favorite Smashing Pumpkins song. In recent years it's been my handle for just about any community I've joined since "Zero" (other favorite SP song) is far too common.
Plus, it fits nicely: I'm a geek, and I live in the USA.

my name is from a mythological japanese water demon, i changed it from kappa to kappah so people wouldn't confuse it with the greek letter.

Okay, back in the day, ten years ago or so, I was a big fan of Kevin Smith. His company is called View Askew. I am a girl, and was a big fan, hence Girlaskew. At this point it's just sloth. All of my e-mail addys are Girlaskew, any other site I'm registered on I am Girlaskew. It's easier then having to remember who I am where. Besides, I have never found it to be taken.
My old AOL was BluegreenDreams, no story there, just liked the sound of it. However for AIM I had to be Blugrndrms. Lost it's appeal.
Zoid, I promise from now on I will hear your name correctly when I read it. I had wondered...
