* JadeHand sleeps aboard the shuttle in the hanger bay, a smile on his face. He awakens with a start, still smiling. As he turns to collect his things, his gaze crosses a reflective surface in which he spots his own smile.*
"Ha! Haven't seen that in a while...a long while."
* He collects his belongings and steps off the shuttle. He glances over and realizes he still has his torn sleave tied around his no longer very damaged arm.*
"Looks like I have some time, I better get cleaned up and ready."
*JadeHand walks out and down a flight of stairs then heads back to his apartment to shower, shave, and dress for business.*

SR crosses his path at the entrance way to the shuttle bay.
"Hey JH, where's the captn'? Were in orbit so lets break some atmo and get some supplies. Hey where you going? The shuttle's that way."

"Now relax, have a seat, breathe. If we're all very very lucky, the planet will still be there in an hour."
*He smiles and gives the ol' quartermaster a friendly slap on the shoulder, spins and heads to his room. There he slips from his worn and bloody clothing and moves to the shower.*

*JadeHand is surprised to find a note on his mirror, when he steps out of the shower, and perhaps a little disappointed someone didn't stop in to say hi. He takes the note and chuckles. He dries himself re-dresses in fresh clothing reaquired from Cozen's room, and checks his weapons and tags and other supplies in his bag. Satisfied he returns to the hanger bay and finds SR leaning against the shuttle tapping his foot*
"Missed that part about relaxing, eh? Fine, come aboard, just wipe your feet, I don't want anything to happen to her boat."

Slowly awareness began to intrude on her, her screams and cries subsiding, her shaking slowing to a tremble. Shadow saw Ghost curled up beside her, still crying. Rubbing the younger girl’s back, the two sat together rocking slowly and calming each other. Taking a deep breath to calm the last of her tremors, and looked around the room they were in. It was a nice room, a guest room she assumed, a good sized bed with fluffy flowery bedding and warm inviting furniture. She did wonder where everyone else was, she knew her screams had been loud enough, here sore throat was enough evidence of that and adults usually responded to children’s screams, well at least that’s what was supposed to happen when adults care. Slowly she got out of the bed, Ghost following closely behind her. They’d probably been dumped again, but they had been put in a nice room and they had been left in their pretty dresses.
She didn’t want to leave this place. That realization made Shadow freeze for a moment. She really didn’t want to leave here. They’d only been there for less than a day and there were so many people but something told her this would be a good place for her and Ghost. Remembering they still had to grab their backpacks from the shuttle they arrived in Shadow and Ghost quietly left the mallorn tree and began wandering the halls of the sereni-tree, getting to know the place that would hopefully be their new home as they searched for the shuttle they had arrived on.

As Shadow and Ghost wander about the Sereni-Tree they happen upon a robot made of metal and plastic. It looks down at them.
"Hello. The two of you appear to be lost. May I be of assistance?"

having woken up later than she expected, thrown warm water at her self and changed into a fresh shirt, she does an excellent job of hiding the fact that she's just run like a headless chicken to get to the hangar bay. She crosses to stow her bag and guns away in the shuttle, waves to JH and turns back round.
"Besides, we need either TRM and Rat and the others, or Serenity Ebo and their honour guard. So slow down.
If your worried about the Alliance, this is a industry planet, they are going to be there. But its also an independant planet. Something tells me they're kept under control. And we are here for legitimite trading. If you're jumping round like a bug on a griddle they're gonna think we've got something to hide. As far as I know there are no warrents out for any of us, we'll be ok.
*pauses*
There are no warrants out on any of us? Are there?
Well never mind, we'll deal with that if as and when it arises. Until that moment *straightens her coat* we are respectable business people"

Before she even opens the door she knows they are gone. She can't feel their presence, feels faint traces of terror insead. The sheets are tangled, the pillows skewed. Kelly curses in Elvish as she races down the stairs of the mallorn. She taps her comlink.
"Serenity? Have you seen the girls? They disappeared from my tree."
"No, haven't seen them in awhile."
Kelly calls Safe as she sprints down the hallway. "Safe, I've lost the girls, are they with you?"
"No, sorry Kelly. I'll keep an eye out."
Kelly turns a corner and cries out with relief. The two girls are holding hands with Sparky, who appears to be leading them toward the common room.
"Ai! You scared me, little ones! Is everything okay? Please let me know if you want to go somewhere. We don't want to lose you!"
Shadow glances at Ghost, who promptly bursts into tears. Kelly gathers them both into her arms.
"Oh no, no, it's ok little Ghost. I'm not angry. I was just worried about you."
Shadow's voice is barely above a whisper. "You were?"
"Yes, little Shadow. Tell me, where were you going?"
"To get our stuff. We left it in the ship."
"Let's go together, is that alright?" Kelly asks as she stands.
"Yes, I'd like that," Ghost says, and Shadow nods.
Hand in hand, they walk to Safe's shuttle, and Kelly wonders just what she is to do with these two little lost vagabonds.
