Oh, Mai! I'm so pleased!
There are still so many details to work out, I don't even know where to begin.
BUT, we've entered into orbit over Garrison now and Seryn wants to take me shopping for fabrics. She's going to make my dress. Do you want to come, too? And we can talk about details on the way!
They're leaving pretty soon, so we need to get ready.
And I have to go find Soul.
Meet you in the hanger bay in, say, half an hour?
*Mai and Serenity part and Serenity heads towards the Security Office to find Soul. On the way, she runs into Kelly with Shadow and Ghost in tow.*
Hello girls! Taking good care of Miss Kelly, I see!
*She winks at the girls and gives Kelly a relieved look over their heads. As she continues on, she makes a mental note to pick up a few things for the girls while she's planetside. Clothes, definitely, since they were both wearing outfits that were worse for wear, and a few toys.*
*Finally, she makes it to the Security Office where Soul is sitting in his chair, working at his computer.*
Hello, love! *she says, kissing him on the cheek.*
We've nearly arrived at Garrison. Seryn is going to take me shopping for wedding things. I also thought I'd pick up a few things for the girls. They obviously don't have much. Do you want to come with?

"Ok if you say so. How's the cannonball? Here, you might want this." SR reaches into his pocket and pulls out a apple he had wrapped in a bandanna.
Seryn's brow knits, "Cannonball? What are you talking about?"
"That which in time will come forth and be know as 'Spawn of Seryn' and then eventually 'Son of Seryn'."
Seryn laughs. "Just fine" and then she looks worried. "Am I showing allready?" SR shakes his head in a negative. She takes the apple and has a bite. "It's tasty, thanks."
She knows that SR is one of the few people that can be trusted completely not to slip a griswald on her.
SR winces inside at the symbolism of the act, but remains impassive.
"Well captn' I'm going to get a seat and some sleep. I sense this will take awhile."

Kelly returns the look of relief from Serenity and continues on to the common room. Suddenly, an idea strikes her and she turns around.
"Where are we going?" Shadow asks quickly.
"I have something to ask Miss Serenity, if that's alright," Kelly replies.
"Okay."
Kelly finds Serenity in Soul's office and knocks gently.
"Um, Serenity? Would you mind if I asked Seryn to pick me up some things for the kitchen while you're on Garrison?"
"No, not at all. But why are you asking me?"
"Well, it's ingredients for your wedding cake. That is, if you would honor me to make you one."

*JadeHand releases the com and pokes his head out of the shuttle to see Quincey running fullspeed towards the shuttle, still pulling her clothes on.*
Quincey: "I....I ...I get to fly?" she asks, nearly out of breath.
JadeHand: "Sure, but not a scratch, you understand? I don't want any trouble. Slow, smooth, steady pace. Let's not draw any unwanted attention."
*Quincey jumps onboard and heads to the pilot seat.*

And actually, I had an idea about the cake.
I was thinking a nice, rich chocolate cake with layers of fresh strawberries and chocolate mousse. Frosted in chocolate. Swiss chocolate, if we can get it. And then, I'd like to decorate it with whole strawberries and fresh flowers from my garden.
What do you think, Soul?

*Ath awakes in Kelly's mallorn tree, alone and disoriented, yet feeling much better. After getting to his feet and getting his bearings, Ath realizes that Kelly and the girls are gone. Figuring that she took them to the kitchen to get them some food, he decides to head to the bridge and see about doing his job.
On his way out, Ath looks over at the newborn Piffleponies and wonders if Shadow and Ghost would like to learn to ride.
Upon arriving at the Bridge, Ath checks out the damage to the ship. While doing so, he notices a switch that he'd never seen before. It's labeled "serious" and it's turned to "on". Feeling daring, he flicks the switch to "off".
Ath is suddenly stricken with an urge to take a dip in the chocolate jaccuuzi, which he promptly succumbs to.*
"Anyone care to join me?"
"Invader's blood marches through my veins like giant radioactive rubber pants. The pants command me! Do not ignore my veins!"
