Boros: Companion House;

“Captain Seth Franklin alias Safe, I know you are in there. Please come out quietly. You wouldn’t want anymore of your... acquaintances... to be hurt now would you?”

Safe peeks out the window. A man in a gray suit and dark glasses stands flanked by Alliance soldiers.

The man in the gray suit notices that he has the attention of the occupants of the house as faces start to appear in the windows. He raises the bull horn again.

“Captain, I had hoped we could deal like gentlemen. I even brought a guest.”

The Alliance soldiers part and Heinz, the scar man, steps forward, a nasty smile on his face and a chain, tied to something still hidden by the soldiers, in his hand. Heinz jerks the chain and a man, shackled hand and foot, stumbles forward.

“I do believe this man is the last of your squad” The man in the gray suit pauses and counts on his fingers. “Excuse me, I seem to be mistaken. This is the second last man. The last being Lieutenant Jack Cooper or CastIronJack as he is known. And I see you’ve been kind enough to bring him along.”

“Now if you’ll be so kind as to surrender yourself, I can be off this backwater planet. As I said before; no need for you to cause any more unnecessary... deaths.”

Do we have Spare parts? If not can we get them?*

Well, we once had four shuttles in our hanger bay on the topmost floor of the South Wing: General Lee, General Grant, Admiral Nelson, and Napoleon Bonaparte. The Grant may have been blown up on Boros. There is also room for an Alliance fighter. We also have a handfull of single-person shuttle pods, and maybe a mecha can fit, too. But if we need more room, I can expand the volume inside. I can fold space, you see. So yes, there is room. Spare parts? I'm sure we can get some. Do you have a list?

Now, our cargo levels are below the Common Room. We have a major airlock off the Common Room, to the "west" of the South Wing entrance.

Yeah. I'm not overly excited about being under a waterpark or a zoo, but being under the hanger bay to keep track of comings and goings sounds good. If Soul is close to the entrance, and MontanaGirl is the only other on the second level, It sounds like at least one of the window rooms should be available. Mark me down for a window room, second floor, south wing. That will keep me close to the hanger where I can work on this...

*hands TRM a sketch of Shuttle Blue Prints titled "Ocean Cloud" *

She's mostly a cargo runner for hauling in st...Salvaged goods. Quiet, Fast, small number of crew unless there's no goods. If we have the parts I can get started putting her together, otherwise I'll just keep my eyes open on future missions til we get what we need. I'm up for missions, I can be handy in almost any situation given enough notice...As for the Brewmiester position, I have ideas for almost completely automating the process to keep everyone aboard always supplied with their beverage of choice. Should require only weekly inspection to ensure proper function. Oh and don't forget Seryn, she's here too.

Jadehand, you will either be under the "This Land" park, a recording studio with dance floor, a hanger bay, or a gym and Dream Machine. And the folks I called out are the only ones I KNOW of. There could be other inhabitants of the various floors. But I'll put you down for an end room on the South Wing.

* TheRealMe looks at the ship plans. *

Nice ship. We can go up to the hanger bay later and see if we can get you started. And the title of brewmaster is yours! We have some brewing equipment in a room behind the bar, entered by a door to the right of the bar, as you are looking at it. The kitchen is also behind the bar, and there may be a connection between the kitchen and brewery.

See, she's stealthy, Like I was telling Seryn earlier. 'Mostly for cargo, but there's fold down seating and seatbelts for up to ten in the back, which of course reduces the amount of cargo you can haul but still leaves room for a sizable weapons rack, kinda makes it function as a drop ship for missions if need be.'
Might need a couple of your actual engineers to go over it and make sure she's sound, like I said, strange dream. With the SEP field you can get in and out quietly, if you load a few heavily armed folk in the back, you could have a quick rescue or *cough* salvage run.
Oh, space folding inside the shuttle would increase capacity for booty and/or 'troops'.
'Space folding in the Brewery would be cool too, I could get all manner of beverage going 'round the clock, I'll swng by the brewery and get started. Thanks!

Jadehand, you can give your list of required parts to Rat, here, and he will... acquire them.

crap! should I have bought a CV *snorts in an unladylike amnner* gods! I don't have a CV! what the hell would I do with one of them?

I should have a quantitive list of my experience though.

Seryn sits, pulls up her trouser leg, thank the gods for the long life wax! and starts scribbling furiously on her thigh, occaisionally adding dates on her shin and making a lot of (literal) footnotes...

That reminds me, we don't have a tattoo artist, either.

SR observes all this from the door way of the healler's house aproximately 60 meters away and to the left of the formation of soldiers.

"I guess they didn't get the gates locked in time." He thinks to himself.

SR realizes that the suit has made the error of overconfidence and failed to surround the house, over even spread out his men into a partial perimeter. The whole operation is based on the strength of his hostage. SR moves slowly and smoothly from a standing position to a crouch and then completely prone on the porch. He sets his rifle up on it's bipod and then extracts from his shoulder bag a Very pistol flare gun and sets it down within easy reach. He then sights in his priority of targets.

"First the suit, then babyface, then the sargent, and then who's ever smart enough to be shooting back at me. Headshots, at this range easy. But first let's hear this guy flap a little more."

From inside the Companion House on Boros, Bride6 runs up next to Safe and looks out the window at the hostage situation.

"Oh, look! That guy has a scar on his face. Is that anything like the scar guy you told us..."

Bride6 slows and stops talking when she sees Safe's face. Grimly, Bride6 readies her pair of Desert Eagles, and stares out the window, standing next to Safe.

"Got a plan?"
