I compiled my own personal list a while back for RP purposes. This contains all the Chinese ever used on Firefly, as well as lines that didn't make it on the air and some others I've found in various places on the Internet.

I grew up speaking Cantonese ...did not learn American English until 5 or 6.
When I was a child I used to hang out with my father's friends. I became very skilled at cussing in the gutter level in Cantonese by 5-years of age...That is until my mother caught me, and in no uncertain terms, I was informed "girls do not talk like that" I never knew what I was saying until I was in my late teens. You do not want to swear in Cantonese. I discovered it was much more explicit than the "f- you" slang. Chinese to me is not a language of abstracts. Again I say it is very explicit form of cussing and I do not recommend it.

I looked "I Love You" up and i might be wrong because i didn't direct it towards anybody, just did the words as they are, but it is better than nothing.
I Love You = Wah I Ni
(Ni is pronounced Knee)

Just thought I would respond to your post as well here. Just know the few basics ie hello and thank you in Chinese. In Japanese now thats a diff story. At the right place w/ right owner can get free drinks just from speaking in Japanese. Anyways I got another post on the language board with General Foreign Swears. So if your interested hope over there and you get the basic Japanese ones I thrown up plus some German ones that some Shiny people added.
