Mister Whedon has some amusing stories to tell. Not unusual, but he relates how "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" came to be written. It seems they were just about ready to kill off poor Jenny, but they couldn't film that episode until SMG finished doing Saturday Night Live. So they had to improvise a script that minimized her screen time. They started with her getting turned into a rat, and worked from there.

This story delights me. BB&B is one of my favorite episodes. Very funny, but also very dark. The way love makes you crazy. The way craziness is funny -- until the crazy person finds a sharp object. The thought of all that coming from one little scheduling hassle is too beautiful for words.

Without doubt one of the best episodes!

Just been reading peoples comments about season 6 being disappointing. Sure it may not have been the best season but there were some fantastic eps (Once More with Feeling being one of course!), and is still the best thing on TV (along with 24).

The thing I ask is if it comes down to talking about should they end it sooner rather than later, surely any new episodes are better than no new episodes at all!!!

Well, I hated 24. Liked it at first, but then it become obvious that they were making it up as they went along. If you're going to do that kind of suspense, you need some internal logic. If you just go and invent whatever feels right, where's the tension?

But you're right, there were very good eps in S6. If I hadn't had to sit through so many relatively bad ones in order to see them...

Hey, OMWF is on again next week. Grab all your friends who think Buffy is a lame remake of a too-campy movie and make them watch it with you.
