What's the "Where's my check" thing about? The day Firefly premiered, I submitted a fairly giddy story to Slashdot. Which convinced a lot of people that I'm some kind of paid shill for the show. To which, I can only say, "Joss, where's my check?"

I actually am a writer, and I certainly wouldn't mind writing for Joss Whedon. On the other hand, my fiction mostly sucks, and I absolutely don't want to move to Southern California. So I guess that's out.
